The front desk staff, excellent. Rooms were clean. My rating was low because you can get a much bigger, better hotel for less and be on the beach. We booked our room on a short layover very last minute. We were able to check in early which was great. They let us lounge at the pool until check in time which was also very nice. But again, for the price, stay somewhere with beach access! Also, WiFi is terribly slow and you can only have two devices connected.

The Fiji Gateway hotel exceeded my expectations as the 2 pools were great, the restaurant staff and food were lovely, the reception staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is a 400m flat walk from the airport and there is a free shuttle. However, there are not many shops nearby.

Good for a quick hold in or out of Fiji, staff is awesome. Restaurant and WiFi are the low points. Definitely skip the breakfast! Try the bar food, it’s t was much better.
