Great area

I was worried after reading some of the reviews but decided to stay anyway. It was very clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly. I was disappointed bc the lazy river pool area is closed and the hot tub. But overall I was pleased.

Property was just what I expected for the price at last minute. While old and in disrepair, it was obviously being addressed in renovations. The room was dated but clean. Locks were secure and functional. The view was spectacular and unobstructed. The towels were top notch! The front desk/check in staff were friendly, helpful, and fast.

Was right on the beach, which was a plus for what we were looking for. The property overall was really good, only complaint was never saw or observed the presence of a housekeeper. This seems like it was and could be an amazing even unbelievable place to stay, if they just had more staff to cover the sheer amount of rooms they have

Stayed two nights. Room was very clean. Bought our own toilet paper, though. No TV, no Wi-Fi, no room services, hotel golf carts parked in handicap parking, elevator didn't work. Fireworks on the beach at 1:00 a.m. sounded like they were on our balcony.

It was a nice stay but the outside was filthy from all the ppl that would bring sand and water to the stares and elevator. it's like you where walking on ponds. The room I stayed in was beautiful with a view to the sea I loved it. Will reserve again 💙

The room was fine for a hotel but awful as a resort. The resort fee felt like a scam, there was nothing “resort” that was open. The room was fine, and clean, very little balcony space but for a day or two stay not wanting to use resort amenities it’s fine. If you want a resort experience don’t stay here.

I can’t really give the hotel a realistic rating because it was under going renovation. View was amazing! Worker was polite! I was irritated, which impressed me how they didn’t get out off character. Please if u stay at this hotel tip more because the workers do have a lot of rooms to clean.

Everything is so inconvenient. No bathroom around pool. Pools close at 9:00 pm instead of 11:00 as shown on signs outside the hotel. Water park is close and we were not aware until after check in.

Definitely need to be renovated

We didn’t have access to the balcony and the wifi wasn’t working for one day so we couldn’t watch tv. The first room was dirty but staff helped up get a better one. The furniture need to be updated. Not too bad for a last a minute trip ….wouldn’t be my first choice definitely a last resort option. Staff was friendly and nice.

Water park was closed all week and pools.they did give us an extra day free.room was pretty good but the outside building disgusting.nonroom service all week.elevator has not been inspected sine 2022.broken fire extinguishers.balcony was gross carpet was yuck.building just needs demolished.would not recommend to anyone.stay somewhere cleaner.it rained and mildew smell reaked from roof

Water park was shut down and outside the rooms were a little dirty…. No it was kind of a mess. The room was clean and tidy, but they need more renovations. Old microwave and old appliances in room. Old shower and bathrooms. My 9 year old stated , “Yeah it’s pretty bad.” Staff was great and available. Excellent manners and wanted to assist in every way! If some changes are made we would love to see everything working :).

Very disappointed for the money we spent

The website shows the hotel in great condition with all the amenities open. Most pools were closed, the arcade is no longer there, no mini golf, our refrigerator never worked at all and maintenance never came to fix it like they said. No ice bucket in room. No maid service at all the whole visit.

Excellent beach motel

Our room was great! I was unsure due to the horrible reviews, but it was excellent! Almost all the pools are shut down but one, which was disappointing, but we weren't charged for them. The hotel on the outside was a little intimidating, but when I opened the room door it was a different story. There was some DIY looking job on the transition on the floor, but who cares! The room was clean, smelled perfectly fine. The beds were clean and slept okay. We stayed in 40214 I ahve absolutely no complaints about Sea Mist. Staff was very nice. Check in was easy. Staff explained exactly where the building was, parking and gave us a map. Check out was easy too. Would definitely stay here again! No complaints

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE Hotels.com is a joke.

False advertisement. The website shows a very large nice water park. It is listed under the amenities. It looks like it has been closed down for a few years. The grounds were trashed and the elevator was nasty and smelled like smoke. The front desk staff were very nice. This is one of two positives. Hotels.com messed up our room, the itinerary they sent was for a 6 person room. The room they booked for us was barely a 4 person room. Sea Mist did compt us a room at no charge. Second positive. Both SeaMist and Hotels.com ruined our family vacation. They both should be shut down.

This is a trash bucket it's a great location because you right on the beach.. I left a day early because I was tired of that trash bucket. The tub didn't work properly and they didn't fix it either, dryed blood was on the wall at the bottom by base board. No towel no sheet the supervisor said they don't service the room anymore. PlZ DONT TAKE YOUR FAMILY HERE i bought and clean my room for my family. I ask for a refund for one night since we don't have towels sheets and the tub still ain't fix..the Supervisor said we don't do refunds..THIS NOT A RESORT

Horrible stay

That was horrible, pool wasn't work, I don't have blanket in my Boths rooms, no toilet papers and my Boths room, I have to go to the office a block away to get it and guess what ?? Someone hit my car and run, are you serious? Yes and now I have my car hit without anyone to be responsable for the hit, and when I do my reservations shows a beautiful water park in the property and when I get there they told me is not working? Are you f Seriuos? I need a refund a list half of what I paid cuz this is ridicules

The photos on Expedia are misleading. This property is old and run down. The room was filthy with dog hair all over the beds. The couch was filthy with black dirt on the arms and white stuff on the cushions. Everything is rusting or peeling in the room. The TV an only got one channel - HGTV. The elevator shook and had not been inspected since 2022. The sheets had black marks on them. One pool was drained and not opened. The pools were dirty with sands. Absolutely not as pictured! This is in the older South Myrtle Beach section and it rents to people monthly. Not a good family place to stay.
