Well maintained and updated elevated beach home in Ocean Lakes, Holiday Inn Section. This 5 bedroom, 3 1/2 bathroom, ocean view beach house sits 120 feet from beach access. It is located on site 1185 in Ocean Lakes in Myrtle Beach, which is a family-oriented, 24-hour gated, security patrolled community with a multitude of amenities.

Ocean Lakes boasts nearly a mile of privately owned beachfront, it features eight fresh water lakes, a recreation center with supervised activities for children such as day camps, fire engine rides and playground activities. Facilities on site in the campground include a heated indoor pool, an outdoor olympic sized pool, kiddie pools, and water park, golf cart rental, three snack bars and an arcade with 80+ games, an outdoor theatre with scheduled events, playgrounds, basketball courts, shuffle board, skateboard park, miniature golf, dog park and wash, a full-time recreation staff, and a mile of beach all within the community grounds on over 300 acres.

The house has three ocean view decks, an open living room/dining room and kitchen floor plan with high 10 foot ceilings and ceramic tile floors. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, stove, microwave and refrigerator with ice maker and a large serving bar. There is also a dining nook that seats 8 plus the bar that seats 3. There is also a 1/2 bath located next to the living room area.

The master bedroom is on the 1st floor with king size bed, private full bathroom, and access to an ocean view deck.

The washer and dryer are conveniently located on the main level.

The 2nd floor has a center hallway with four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The two front queen bedrooms each have upper level deck access for ocean viewing. A third queen bedroom sits across from the bunk room. The bunk room sleeps four, with 2 twin beds & 1 full bed. All four bedrooms have convenient access to the two full upstairs bathrooms.

The home has large tv's in the living room and master bedroom. The house has wifi.

Ocean Lakes is a family-oriented community and the rental of this house is intended for couples and families. We do not rent to groups under 25 years old.

Ocean Lakes requires guests register and pay a daily fee for parking. This entitles you to the use of all amenities. The charge for parking is per day/per vehicle and is not included in your rental.

From Memorial Day to Labor Day I will only accept weekly rentals Saturday to Saturday.

The house was super clean with a perfect location and great layout for 3 families (2 who had kids). Becky was easy to reach and so nice, helpful, and accommodating for us with various travel schedules. We’re already planning a trip back!

Great location off main path. Close to the beach just a quick walk. Only 2 downfalls were cleanliness which is of no fault to owner. Notified owner and cleaning people came back to fix the issue. And air conditioning was leaking in floor in one of the bathrooms causing a bit of a hazard. But I would stay here again, nice place.

This house was in a great location, the property owner was very responsive. One thing I will say is that unlike other properties, this one had comfortable living room furniture and plenty of porch furniture as well. Plenty of room underneath for several cars and golf carts. And a great wraparound porch. Would definitely stay there again!

My family and I have been coming here for 6 years and so far, this has been our favorite house. It was super clean and stocked with everything we could have needed. Just a short walking distance to the ocean and very quite at night. We spent a good a lot of time on the front porch which easily accommodated our group of 11. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely stay here again!

My 2 friends and I spent a long weekend getaway here, and it was fantastic. The house very spacious, beds very comfortable, and the rental management very nice and accomadating. We didn't get out and about besides taking the golf cart for a spin or down to the beach. But that's what we were looking for in our long weekend away. What a wonderful place to go and just relax for a few days. Will definitely go back!! Even longer next time!!

Was so excited about this stay with our family. Planned it for a year. This place was so dirty I had to clean it before we brought our things in. Filthy dirty....blood on bed and pillows, furniture has not been cleaned in who knows when, hair in all the bathrooms, showers do not drain, fridge and kitchen cabinets disgusting, I could go on an on. Over 5,000.cost..what an enormous disappointment. Advised host of some of these issues without even a reply. Do not do this to yourself unless you have low standards.

The property itself is excellent, new looking, modern, great air conditioner, open and airy. We were disappointed in that we were given an incorrect keypad entry code to initially get in and it took a bit of time for us to contact the owner for the correct code. We were also disappointed that the cleaning group who were supposed to clean the unit before we got there and for which we had to pay an additional $350.00, did not show up until we had accessed and entered the unit, after which they performed a perfunctory cleaning. The bedding for all of the beds, and towels were left in large bags; the beds to be made up by ourselves as were the towels to be distributed; but then I guess that this is not unusual for the renters to have to make their own beds and distribute the towels on their own. All in all the unit was well supplied, but the main frying pan should be replaced as anything fried in it stuck terribly. We had a great stay in a very nice unit that was only two short blocks from the main beach area. The unit itself would get a 5 stars from me, and the service as noted.

House is cute and kitchen well equipped. Quiet street and house is steps to beach. We had a couple of issues but they were always resolved. House was locked when we arrived at designated time so we had to reach out to owner. There wasn't any meniton of linen bags in the listing so when we got there we used the sheets in the drawers and slept on them first night. Turns out there were unmarked bags for use in garage I didn't happen to notice. Saw them day 2 so spent next day washing everything we used and making beds again. A couple of roaches (aka palmetto bugs but still a roach, yuk) seen every night when flipping lights on. Dog poop on deck. Cleaners came back, they had missed it due to rain. Every issue was always resolved quickly (except linen hassle) and owers had speedy enough communication. Nothing they would have been able to control any differently.

We stayed June 2024 with 5 kids and 6 adults. When we arrived after our 12.5 hour car ride we were unable to enter the house through the main door because it was unable to work properly. I then called, texted and FaceTimed Becky. After showing her it doesn’t work, she began giving me 4 other codes to put in to see if I was given the wrong one. No luck, and was just told not to lock it with the keypad and someone will come that day, or my husband can try and replace the batteries himself. They never showed that day, but I began to text her other things that were going wrong with the house. After an hour there my daughter stepped on a nail on the deck that was popped up. The shower head in the outside shower was torn completely off and not fixable. The door to the upstairs deck was broken so we could access it. There was dog poop on the deck, the master bedroom shower head was not working (it was very complicated and needs to have instructions written down to explain in the future), the main floors made our feet black and were never washed before we got there..as well as half the house was so dirty even though we had to pay a ridiculous cleaning fee. There was a dog there before us, hence the dog poop but also the main carpet in the living room smelled like dog pee so bad, that I wouldn’t allow any of the children to sit down and play in that area. Also, they have a ring camera on the front porch. That made us all very uncomfortable, knowing that they can watch us, and when I

Hi, just want to say thanks for renting to my family. Your house has a very good layout for a family. The bedrooms are a good size and having two full bathrooms upstairs between four bedrooms was very useful. As well as the master bedroom downstairs having its own full bath and also having a separate powder room off the family room worked well for a large family. This house is a good size, a great location to the beach (50 yards), it’s decorated nicely, the many decks are a plus with having a lot of people and separate spaces to hang out, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and thanks for having the extra towels, they came in handy! The checkin was easy having the door with an electronic keypad and code for entry. We didn’t have to worry with keeping up withs keys at the beach. And having a family of adults, we could all come and go without worrying about having the keys! If I had any questions, communication with the owners was easy and convenient by text and I received a prompt answer! We certainly would stay here again! We had everything we needed and had a great stay! Thank you

We had never been to Ocean Lakes, but came to spend Easter weekend with friends who were camping. We had a great long weekend and really enjoyed this house! The house was very clean, well stocked, and had tons of space. We would definitely stay here again.

I love the house. Good location, large size and in good shape. The management however is another story. I am longtime Ocean Lakes vacationer. Often with absentee ownership the tenants should provide feedback which I did. House had some prior tenants undergarments under a bed and out on the upper deck. Fan blades were cover in filth. Upstairs tubs would not drain properly. Owner states that someone would stop by and unclog tubs. Waited at the prescribed time- no one showed. When I left owner claims my kids had sunflower seeds on deck which was true. Stated his cleaning crew wanted to bill me double the cleaning fee. Owner is being extorted by an inferior cleaning crew. Imagine paying a cleaning fee and the crew wanted more to do what they had been paid for- to clean! Ownership should not be so easily convinced to strong arm by cleaning crew especially when it is end of season and owner states they were going to do a “deep clean” since I was last renter. In all I loved the place but the end of term shenanigans was a game changer so I would not recommend this house.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The host was very responsive and really helped us during our stay. The home is only a short walk to the beach which made for a great short walk when there was no golf cart parking at the beach.
