Place is pretty rundown. Bedspread had holes and stains. Shower had duct tape Covering a hole. Needs remodeling.

Dirty a d run down. Ripped drapes, broken patio chairs, door handle came off in my hand, hallways smelled of cigarettes and pot, ripped carpets, gym was closed, good thing the beach was nice

Older property but has been updated to a degree. The beds were very comfortable. That was a big bonus in my book. They did not have a hair dryer however. Which I have seen in every hotel I've ever stayed at. But but the little kitchen area was very nice.

I was not in the Main Tower, but the building to the left...this is what I found...
Upon checking in on Sunday...the 2 Jacuzzis di Not work
My Room...Disgusting !!!
Slidin door stuck
TV Remote did not work
Bathroom floor was full of Cigarette Burn marks
The Box Spring was Filthy
The Furniture falling apart
The AC made a loud noise
Kitchen Stove burner did Not work
Elevators were slow and very Loud and 2 guys got stuck while I was there.
Next...Roaches (Not Palmetto Bugs) crawling on floor
Carpet was Dirty...
Went to Office and was told that Hotel was full..they finally moved me to another Room on Tuesday.
The Outside was nice..but overall....Disgusting.

I checked in on a Sunday. Spoke to the young man at the desk about checking out a day early. He said he can't do it but the manager can. She'll be in Monday morning. I went back the next day in the early afternoon and she was already gone for the day. I mentioned wanting to check out a day early and they said come back the next day. So i did the same thing and got the same results. On Wednesday morning I was packing up my car and a couple stopped and asked me how my room was. We ended up chatting for about 10 minutes over the deplorable beds and beat up rooms. I told him I stayed in a Marriott down the street. He was heading to a Holiday Inn. We both went over to building where the front desk is. He politely let me go before him. I told the woman at the desk my situation with all the details. That is when they tell me I have to go through Expedia to ask for a refund and then the hotel can refund my 1 day. She did pop her head in the office to speak to someone and then told me yeah because I booked through a 3rd party I have to talk to Expedia first.
Fast forward to Friday. I get online and get a hold of a rep for Expedia who call the hotel. They said they had no record of me mentioning anything about checking out early. Nor did they take any blame for the terribly uncomfortable beds that we only slept in 1 of the 4 nights.
Expedia tried their best but the hotel refused. I was also given about 6k in points for my next hotel NOT BBR.
