"We arrived in Bologna by train for a 2-night stay and the Starhotels Excelsior was a great place to land. The hotel is directly across the street from the train station and within a 20 minute walk to the center of town, which made it ideal for our needs. The front desk staff were helpful and efficient, and the room was spacious - you could walk around without tripping over suitcases - with a comfortable bed. Also, it was very quiet inside the room - any noise from the street below did not reach inside our room. The hotel was a basic place to stay for a couple of nights and met our needs perfectly."

There are secure lockers available to rent, along with laundry facilities for an additional charge. I didn’t take advantage of the breakfast option, but it looked quite good. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the lounge and bar area were comfortable and well maintained. The location is excellent for anyone looking to stay close to the train station and the main sights, with plenty of restaurants and cafés within easy walking distance. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable stay in a convenient location. I would also be happy to check out their other locations if the opportunity presents itself."
