「The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a late afternoon walk on the country lanes of Middle Wallop. I want to mention a few things that did not bother us but may matter to other potential guests:
- Room ("the family room"): because it was directly above the pub, we could hear music clearly through the floor until the pub closed. This did not bother us. The...
「The warm welcome from Dennis and Sarah made us very welcome, nothing to much trouble. Catch word was no problem. Part way through our stay was a change of chef by name of Tom although a young man served us well with good food. Also to Sarah's Grandson Keon who helped keep the tables and the fetching and carrying for the main staff. All in all our stay was vey good. Will come again.
