location is perfect , staff were adorable and so helpful , hotel was clean and quiet , best for relaxing with a very good breakfast , they also had a continental dinner buffet and persian restaurant , our room was upgraded to a suite with kitchen with city view , couldn't imagine such a nice property with this price , really amazed with the service and hotel itself . will be my first choice in all my trips to muscat

The service at the hotel was very professional and very nice. The cuisine is sensational, tasty. Reception very helpful. The manager of the hotel was extremely nice. My husband lost his phone in the taxi, he helped arrange everything, the phone was recovered and the manager called us that he was to be picked up at the reception. I wish there were more people like that.

This isn't the Holton and it looks like there maybe some room renovations being undertaken but balancing the price point with offering it is reasonable. The air-conditioned room offers good sized bed, TV bathroom and even a kitchen with fridge microwave washing machine sink cupboards counter kettle and tea making facilities. What excels in this hotel are it's staff. They are genuinely warm welcoming and really do what they can to help you enjoy your stay. The restaurant is also amazing with great food choices. The hotel also offers a late checkout facility which in my case was good as my return flight was very late. I got to enjoy a full final day in Oman then return to the hotel to wash tidy pack and head to the airport. Its location is truly good, and Al Khuwair is one of the best places to stay if you are visiting Oman as its has more natural prices on offer from the commercial shops there. I look forward to this hotel completing renovation of some remaining rooms to really draw the tourist crowds its truly deserves. Again what you will appreciate most is the warmth and the staff there..

Before starting, I'd like to say upfront ;the staff at the Safeer International are great people;their reception, the restaurant, housekeeping & maintenance were welcoming & friendly. Those things make for a great stay. II have awarded 4 stars for their great custom;; separating from the rest of this review. Something is going very wrong at the Safeer and from the impression of a guest whose happened to stay their twice, it's getting worse. It comes across as an owner investment and/or management issue which is very heartbreaking. The Safeer itself is a beautiful property; the rooms; spacious, it's closeness to the heart of Al Khuwair as well as public transportation are being squandered because of its neglected state. The rooms have declined even further than my last visit; a lift which had wires showing didn't appear accessible this time. There were also some short stock outs of things like toilet roll & soap, but; full disclosure, alternative mini soap & tissue boxes were supplied. The stockout was remedied (replenished) in 2 days. The rooms have great varied setups; some have kitchen facilities, others living spaces. This time I stayed in the latter & found the living room space a great room inclusion. Unfortunately the settees were 'neglected' showing many 'stains' on the cloth. The chair by the table had a broken arm and there was much paint bubbling/peel on lower corners of the walls. Please owners; you have a great hotel, it just needs the investment

Everything should be cleaned and sanitized. Walls should be painted. Curtains , furnitures are very dirty. Bed sheets are awfull. Not white gray or beige. Bed smell in the room. Not worth the money. Even may cause health problem. Pictures in expedia are much better than what you will see.
