"Good amenities overall and lots of space on site. Swimming pools were very cold and many of sunshade umbrellas were broken. Disappointing we were unable to access the sun loungers and pool area on the sun deck"

"L’hôtel est idéalement placé, présente bien, et les chambres sont assez spacieuses.
Par contre, nous avons eu un désagrément (douche froide pendant les 3 jours, VMC qui ne fonctionnait pas donc odeurs très désagréables, et lavabo bouché). J'ai écrit sur hotels.com mais le gérant n'avait pas vu mon message. Il était désolé et a dû corriger les problèmes après notre départ. Je mets 4 étoiles pour cette raison, sinon il aurait eu 5."

"Lovely hotel in a great location. We loved the pool area and it also has a great little spa, although we didn’t get time to use it. The breakfast was a highlight with a great buffet variety and also fresh food cooked to order.
Just a couple of things took away from the 5 star experience: the room l booked was with a balcony but the one got didn’t have one. Also there were times where it felt the hotel was understaffed, one time we waited at the pool bar for drinks and no one came to serve us...

"Great little hotel right on the waterfront with direct beach access and a private patio for guests to use. Pool and playground were appreciated as alternatives to beach and ocean. Walking to breakfast two hotels away was not inconvenient. The recently renovated bar located inside the hotel was excellent, although lines got long during happy hour. 24-hour front desk with friendly and knowledgeable staff.

"Very pleasant hotel away from the noise but within walking distance of restaurants and beaches. Fabulous breakfasts and a good buffet in the evening, though we chose to go out or eat in our apartment room. Friendly staff with good ideas."

"I’m giving this hotel three stars because Expedia had it as a hotel with a white sand beach. It’s right on the main road through the town, and we had to cross the street and walk a block to the beach. The sand is not white, as described, but the views and the water were spectacular. I also want to mention that our room smelled swampy as did the tap water. Breakfast is a huge buffet with many options. As is common in this area, look out for cyclists. "
"Went to the hotel for the Mallorca 312 cycling event. Hotel offers breakfast at 5 am, plus it's an amazing location for the event. My wife, non cyclist asked ' Why is it not a 4 star'.
IMO because it does not have a coffee/tea making facility in the bedrooms and the rooms are compact, but rooms are great.
Bar service by friendly staff.
If you want a small hotel and excellent service the Amapola ticks all the boxes. Travelled the end of April, will be even better in Summer.
Plata De Muro is a great resort.
Took a risk with choosing a 3*, but this hotel may not look the most attractive, but the reviews that led myself to this hotel are totally justified."
"I think it’s important to clarify expectations, especially given the five-star classification.
A true five-star hotel is defined by high-end construction quality (materials, doors, bathrooms), excellent soundproofing and privacy, premium linens and towels, and a level of personalised service and refinement throughout. Four-star hotels still maintain good build quality, proper insulation, and a polished, professional standard across rooms and service. Three-star hotels, by contrast, are more functional: simpler materials, less sound insulation, basic linens, and a more casual, often buffet-focused setup.
Based on this, this hotel aligns much more closely with a solid three-star property. The construction quality and finishes are fairly basic, soundproofing is limited (you can hear other guests), and the linens and overall room feel are not at a luxury or even upper-upscale level. The large buffet format and general atmosphere also reflect a more casual, mid-range positioning.
That said, within that category, it’s a good hotel: well-maintained, relaxed, and with plenty of food choice.
My only real concern is the five-star label, which feels misleading. If you come expecting a comfortable three-star experience, you’ll likely enjoy your stay. If you expect true five-star standards, you may be disappointed"
"We had such a wonderful experience at this all-inclusive resort and it truly checked every box for our family.
The laundry facility. It was clean, easy to use, and incredibly convenient, especially when traveling with kids. Being able to refresh our clothes mid-trip made everything feel more relaxed and stress-free.
The food was another standout. There were so many delicious options, but the Nopal restaurant was delicious and our favorite! Then restaurants were perfect for kids and had everything we needed to fill them up.
What really made the trip special, though, was the kids’ entertainment. The activities were engaging, well-organized, and perfectly suited for little ones. Our kids were excited every day and made great memories, which meant we could relax and enjoy ourselves too. We spent a lot of time on the trampoline and was perfect to jump out all the energy.
Overall, this resort delivered an amazing balance of comfort, great food, and family-friendly fun. We’d absolutely come back! "
"Communal areas were lovely and staff couldn’t be more helpful. There is good parking and very quiet. Well located.
Rooms could do with some work - our shower tray leaked and a bit of a smell in the bathroom."
"Nicely renovated reception and dining area. Good value branch. Apartment itself OK well equipped kitchen nice stuff in the restaurant. Let you sit there even half an hour after closing time with no pressure. Good value for money in the eastern peak."
