This place is very large.Wheelchair accessible lots of room for groups,parties huge backyard.Its very comfortable 4 bedroom,2 bath,2 living rooms,rec room/Bar.whole building right off of State Highway M-28 minutes from Pictured Rocks, Munising, Au train, Kewadin Casino,Foggy’s steakhouse/Bar,Xmas motorsports park. Right off the ORV trails. Enjoy the view of Lake Superior Grand Island and take in all the beautiful sunsets from the comfort of the living area. The large parking lot off of State Highway M-28 not only accommodates all size vehicles but also large vehicles hauling/pulling trailers.The outside has a fire pit and grill. This is a great place for family and friends that love all out door activities from snowmobiling, skiing, hiking, kayaking, boating, fishing, swimming and going off road on an ATV/UTV.

Recent updates include all new log furniture, memory foam mattresses, bedding, linens, stainless steal kitchen appliances, new shower and vanity in the bathrooms.Each bedroom has a closet and TV with cable. WIFI is also available through out the building.The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook even the largest meals! The Master bedroom has an incredible view of Lake Superior Grand island.

You will be very comfortable staying here and will want to come back again.

We couldn’t not have been more pleased with our stay. The North Pole house is meticulously maintained. Our kids absolutely loved the decor and exploring the awesome property. Beautiful view of Lake Superior from the master bedroom. The house has anything you might need for a stay up North. We enjoyed the public beach just 5 minutes down the road. Would 100% recommend and stay again if we come back!

This was a great place to stay. There was plenty of space and it was very convenient for all the sights along the coast of the UP. It was very clean and relaxing. Great vacation destination.

Christmas in July

We had a blast hiking, fishing and swimming in the lake. Close to town but not too close. Enjoyed that people randomly pulled up to take pictures 😎

Great place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Super cute and clean, convenient location to Munising. Had fun with all the Christmas decor! Only minor complaint is there’s no lamps or night stands next to the beds in 2 of the bedrooms. But this was minor, would still definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing trip. It’s in a great spot—quiet but still close to everything.Just a couple things to mention: the place is listed as handicap accessible, but the shower wasn’t very practical for someone who needs to transfer from a wheelchair—the doors made it tough to get in and out safely. Also, since the house fits a lot of people, it would be awesome to have a bigger table on the main level so everyone can sit together for meals or games. The kitchen was mostly well-stocked, but we did notice it was missing a few basics like a can opener.Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back!

Snowmobile trip

Our group of snowmobilers stayed at “The North Pole”. It was very clean and great for us. Very accommodating and Dan was very responsive. I’d rent from Dan again! He was awesome. Very easy to reach trails and close to casino and gas station. Perfect location.

Great place for our group

We came to Christmas to ride side by sides on the trails. This house is in a great location to reach the trails, and the large entrance makes it easy to store bulky clothing if you are riding in colder weather. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, and the living space felt cozy! We will return!

Great Iconic Spot to Vacation!

For those of us who grew up driving by this building it was a kick to stay there. It’s been nicely updated on the second floor to accommodate a group of 5 or 6 single adults comfortably. Close to Munising and Marquette it’s a perfect location for exploring all that the UP has to offer. Dan was very good to work with and he responded immediately when we had questions about the WiFi/TV service.

My son got married this weekend at Au Train beach and my immediate family (ages 18mo - 52yr) stayed here for two nights! It was spacious! Clean! Superbly equipped for our family! We hosted the small reception dinner here and it was just PERFECT! Definitely plan to return!
