"Great people, great amenities, easy to get to/from by Amsterdam Centraal station. Beds were comfortable, no privacy curtains but didn’t mind. In room shower was a little cramped but reasonable all things considered. Would stay again!"

"This hostel met all of our needs. It is right on the edge of then Red Light District, so quiet a lot of people around, tough to drive to because of the very narrow streets & masses of people. They had a valet service to park our car, but was $45/day. Lots to do and see from this location within 30 min of walking. No elevator in the building, so be prepared to lug your bags up several of flights of stairs. "

"DO NOT STAY HERE. Worst hotel experience of my life. Upon check in at the Kebab Shop (don't ask), we were taken to a neighbouring building, a building being used to house carwash workers. We were then taken through the workers living room, through scary corridors, into a dump of a room. Toilets/showers were disgusting, with used razors being left around, along with other gross toiletries. We knew this was one of the cheaper places to stay but I can't believe how bad it really was. "Great place to stay if you dont mind small spaces. Amazing experience. Everyone was super friendly, felt safe amd clean. Right next to the train/bus station as well as the flexbus pickup location. 10/10"

"The place is very clean and there’s always a staff member available. However, because there’s a nightclub behind the building, and it’s open 6 days a week, it’s very loud between 8pm and 3-4am. BRING EARPLUGS!! There’s also a pool hall above. The showers don’t have temperature control and they turn off every 20 seconds or so so you have to keep touching the sensor. The same with the light in the shower room so you have to keep stepping out of the shower to reactivate the light. Also, toilets...

"The property is good, dorm rooms are a bit small, location is very central but the area is loud and full of entertainment options. If you like the lime light thats perfect but if you are more on the quiet side not so much."

"The July is a comfortable, clean, modern hotel in a quiet residential section of town. The hotel restaurant is good. Outside seating options make for a pleasant meal or cocktail. The staff is polite and attentive. Getting to and from the hotel to sights and restaurants is always a taxi or Uber. Nothing is within walking distance. Expect $15 to $20 for each ride by Uber. Taxis are mych more and should be avoided. "
