Great location overall. We stayed as a family of three with one child, and while the room felt a bit tight, it was still comfortable enough for our needs. The bathroom was on the smaller side as well, but it had everything we needed and worked just fine. For a small group, this is a solid and convenient place to stay.

The Isartor is an attractive, super clean hotel, with great rooms and air conditioning. The neighborhood is attractive and convenient. Even the views from the window are special. It was a huge shame we were not notified at the time of booking (December) that the hotel was undergoing renovation work and that the restaurant and bar were shut. There were also no tea and coffee-making facilities in the rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful recommending places to get breakfast but this was a business trip. The rooms were very modern and clean.

Great service staff, very friendly and helpful. Great location, close to the Xmas market and numerous dining spots. Hallway carpets look rough but the rest of the interiors were like new. Only negative was some loud music outside until 2 am on a Saturday night. Strongly recommend this hotel.

Nice, quiet hotel down the block from S bahn station and walking distance to Christmas Market. Lots of local dining options. Room was clean and spacious but bathroom was small with awkward layout. Do not recommend breakfast - too expensive for the little you got and poor service.

The bathroom was a little different than what I’m used to-no shower curtain or door but it worked. Hotel was close enough within walking distance to Marienplatz (we were there for the Christmas markets) and the main train station was an easy 45 minute walk. And the pizza restaurant right next door was a godsend when other places were closed the one night (and the pizza was decent).
