Yes, some parts of Bali are overrun with tourists and rubbish. However, we’ve been here for a couple of weeks now and we’ve seen many beach clean ups being organized, plus single-use plastic is restricted, so yay to this Bali!

Whenever I hear people complaining because Bali is too touristy, I would like to remind them that it’s a pretty big island, and visiting ‘Western hotspots’ is not compulsory! "This was a great hotel. Staff always polite and helpful. The Hotel is clean as the rooms. Security was superior. Food was fresh, plentiful and variety was eceptional. Pool was easy to acess and clean. Close to beach and restaurants and heaps of shops. The area is not busy if you like it a bit quieter. I fully recommend this hotel to others. "

"This is a decent good hotel, in the back of some abandoned buildings. Not really walkable to many areas, restaurants or the beach. But the hotel is clean, safe and there is a circle k nearby for drinks. The staff are very helpful, friendly, kind and courteous. The breakfast buffet was good and offered good variety while changing the breakfast content everyday. The pool and scenery of the hotel was very beautiful and relaxing. The pool was warm, empty and great for swimming. Me and my family had a wonderful experience here, thank you The Kana at Kuta Beach. The is also a good Chinese restaurant across from the hotel, that we finally found out about on our last night there. The only bad thing I can say about the hotel is that there is an abandoned building in the front of the hotel that isn’t appealing and the lunch and dinner at the hotel was not very good, other than that, it’s a fantastic hotel, and I have traveled to many places around the would and stayed at countless hotels. Just wanted you to know some pros and cons here. Also not very walkable to get around the area for sight seeing, you have to take transportation. "
