「初夏のバンクホリデーの当日と翌日の２連泊。最初の日は、キラニーの街中がにぎわっていて、ホテルの前の国道７１号線（マクロスロード）も渋滞、ほてるのテラスも夜遅くまで観光客で盛り上がっていました。翌日は、観光客も帰路についたようで、ホテル内も静寂そのもの。伝統的なホテルで、室内は広く、リニューアルされていて快適でした。」
