"What a wonderful property! Such timeless beauty well kept and preserved. My only dislike was staff being in the ballroom watching movies and slamming the door on us when we were looking around. Understandable if we were not allowed to go in there, just rather rude to not even acknowledge us and then quickly shut the door on us while we were standing there, then hear them laughing. Right before this a young man came loudly into the front foyer to fetch a long table (seemed annoyed the whole time) and set it up rather loudly without even acknowledging us or another guest in front of the fire, or even attempting to apologize for the loud noises. Daytime staff were wonderful though! "

"The room was great. Very clean and comfortable. Someone dumped a cup of coffee all over our white car during the night which we woke to Saturday morning but staff gave us rags and water to wash our car and security promised to look thru the tapes to see who had done this for no reason. "
