「Clean and friendly staff」

「It was adequate for our stay. It needed to be updated a little and the fact that there was no chain for the door made us a little uneasy, but it ended up being an ok stay.」

「This was a unique chance to stay at a very old-style hotel. It was like stepping back in time. Rooms were uniquely and tastefully decorated by themes. Staff was very friendly. They have a big grass area and cabins out back that would be awesome for a family reunion. I'll definitely stay here the next time I'm in the area.」

「It was a very well done old hotel restored. They provided a breakfast. The steak house on site is under renovation so it was not open. But there was a little local restaurant within walking distance which was good. And across the street is a wonderful bakery. Highly recommend this place and if we are in the area again we will definitely stay here. 」

「 There is no reason to stay anywhere else when in Wallace! This adorable, convenient and historic hotel has it all and is particularly quiet for an older establishment. Emily is a superb hostess and runs the place beautifully and efficiently. It is absolutely worth it to rent the "Madame's Suite" - a Victorian boudoir that will take you back in time and is extremely comfortable (the bed is really comfy and the giant tub is exquisite)! Absolutely DO have breakfast in their little brunch...

「It wasn’t a bad place to stay for a night. It had the necessities (small fridge, small tv, microwave, and wifi). The room at some points smelled like smoke because of whoever was smoking outside, but after awhile the smell went away. Be careful with the linens because they do hold a $100 deposit to check that nothing has been damaged/ruined.」
