"Everything about this place, our stay there, and our interaction with our host was perfect. The location made getting around Madrid very easy. The neighborhood was safe, quiet, and near everything one would need. The apartment was very comfortable, well appointed, and spotlessly clean. Our host was there waiting for us when we arrived. He gave us suggestions for good food, good things to see, and was always available for any questions we had. This was hands down our best VRBO experience."

"Seven of our family members stayed 8 nights. The location was perfect for a quick walk to grocery store, bakery (every day!) and a variety of restaurants. We walked to the Royal Palace, Cathedral, Grand Via, Plaza Mayor and the World’s Oldest Restaurant Sobrino de Botin (Guinness World Records). A 20 minute Uber ride took us to the train for a 40 minute ride to a day in Toledo. We all were very happy to return to “our apartment” to rest for dinner and evening strolls. "Property close to metro and steps away from small mercado. Spacious. Well equipped kitchen. Park across street. Lockbox is small, and high on the outside of building. Once we found it, entry was a breeze...a neighbor helped. Some may find it noisy with outside ground level conversation, but not a problem for us. Grateful to be on ground level with our luggage and no lift. Pleasant neighborhood.Never found tablecloth and napkins until we were leaving. Nice to have washer and dryer. Welcome bottle...

"This apartment is perfect! Great location -- amazingly quiet at night -- comfy bed, terrific kitchen, high-end appliances, thick towels and fancy shower, lots of storage. Not a huge apartment, but the marvelous use of space makes it seem much larger. Smart TV. Strong WIFI. Groceries, bars, restaurants all around. Lovely walks to all the sights. "L'appartement est très récent et bien situé. Un garage est à disposition donc très pratique. Le seul petit reproche serait au niveau de l'intimité. Les stores et les portes transparentes ne permettent pas d'allumer le soir sinon tout le monde peut vous voir dans la pièce à vivre, la douche ou la chambre. C'est peut-être un élément à améliorer pour ne pas vivre sans lumière. Et pour cuisiner peu d'ustensiles (il manque des indispensables comme une passoire par exemple)."

While we definitely enjoyed our stay, here are the summary points (both good and needing improvement): Pros: Location is great; flat is very spacious; bathrooms were both clean and large; flat was very quiet despite being on the busiest street in Madrid; Challenges: communication was poor...ask several questions and then delayed response to one question; too difficult to find blankets; unable to access HVAC due to no remotes; wifi access instructions...
