"Book this now! My hubby took me for Valentine’s Day. It’s so peaceful and beautiful room! The room was really clean when we arrived. But we couldn’t find parking in the property close by. Definitely would go back!"

"Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet expectations. No one offered to help with our bags on arrival, and it felt more like a hostel than a luxury stay. There was no explanation about where the elevator was, how to get around the hotel, or anything about amenities. The feeling persisted anytime we were in the lobby: just really bad & unfriendly hospitality. Our first room that faced the street was extremely noisy (traffic, sirens), and the AC sounded like a plane taking off. We called front desk to ask to be switched to another room and they advised us that all rooms have the same AC system with the same loud noise. When they switched us to a second room, it smelled like sewage — like a dirty toilet — and we were advised that construction would be taking place throughout our stay. To top it off, we were hit with an unexpected $346 in parking and “amenity” fees at checkout - none of which were explained, and we were never shown what amenities were included. These fees feel like a cash grab and did not feel fair. Between the noise, awful smell, lack of service, construction, and surprise charges, this stay was not worth it. Save your money and book somewhere like Le Petit Pali or The Ranch Laguna instead."

"This was literally the best hotel that we've ever stayed at (which includes several Ritz and Four Seasons). When it says "on the beach", it's an understatement. We were on the first floor with the balcony feeling like we were over the water. The pool was also great, with the staff keeping up with lounge chair occupancy so nobody could "squat" all day without using it. The location in the town was amazing with an easy walk to breakfast each morning and dinner each evening (I'm sure that the hotel restaurants were nice, we just wanted to explore the town). The room was very nice and updated, with a big shower, huge separate tub, and double vanity sink."

"The garden in the property gave it a dreamy vibe. The room conditions and cleanliness were standard of expectations for an older property, There were really no amenities short of coffee bar in the morning. The proximity to the Main Street of Laguna and the ocean was perfect. However, with power washing happening in the from and the residential construction happening in the back, it was beyond loud and not at all peaceful as we’d hoped. After the workers stopped around 5pm we could return to our room.!!Otherwise we had to keep the curtains drawn and window closed the entire time as they were at eye level with our room. "

"We loved the cozy atmosphere of this hotel. Warm cookies were served at night and the staff was so friendly. It felt like coming home when we walked through the front doors. Everything was clean and even though it is an older hotel, it had a lovely unique charm. The ocean was visible from one point when we stood on the pool deck but it was so easy to walk to a path above the ocean in 5 minutes. The cliff views were spectacular. Parking was a breeze at the hotel. We would love to stay here again."
