Nice little boutique hotel, walking distance from beach. Large rooms, cool feel/layout, chill vibe. Shower grout was really wearing out and had holes in it, and property felt a little bit in disrepair (needs a little TLC in a few places) A larger water cooler in lobby would be very nice, for guests to refill bottles.

I booked at 14 west because it was in my budget, and it is a good place to stay. It is not as close to the beach as I thought since construction blocked Cleo street acces. Also, the downtown wasn't as close as I thought, and walking the busy coast highway to get there was not pleasant to me. I loved all the trails in the wilderness closeby, and Crystal Cove State Park. The Taco Stand across the street had the best tacos I ever had
