「Hotel staff were extremely helpful, especially as foreign travelers, we are not familiar with the area. They would assist us in making reservations and helping us get around easily. The parking was very convenient and the same price that it is throughout the town so we took advantage of the convenience. Overall, the hotels in a central location with very beautiful areas to walk-through and explore the town. Certainly would go again.」

「It was nice to have option of sitting out on balcony though it was only the residential view. Additionally a pleasant surprise to have air conditioning to bring the temperature down for cooler sleep.」

「The hotel is perfectly functional, staff were helpful and the rooms were just fine. Having to walk through cigarette smoke from the staff smoking at the lobby entrance took the shine off things though. Idar-Oberstein itself is not what I expected. It's all a bit shabby, run-down and sad. In the centre we saw a lot of poverty, homelessness and on the street drinking which made it feel a little edgy and unsafe. The restaurants in the town centre are ok, but limited in number/choice. On reflection,...

「Room was nice with no issues. AC worked great. Breakfast was much better than the claimed “continental”. They had everything most European hotels offer and it was only $7.50.」

「Room & Bathroom was excellent, very modern.」
