We hadden het idee dat het heel recent was gerenoveerd en gewoon nog niet af was... na strubbelingen bij het inchecken, uiteindelijk heel vriendelijk en correct geholpen door een medewerker. Simmern zelf is niet echt een aanrader, maar daar doet het apartement natuurlijk niets aan af, dat was gewoon prima. Als uitvalsbasis voor de omgeving is het goed en betaalbaar."

"Booked for a week encompassing the wine festival in Bernkastel-Kues and as a base for cycling along the Moselle river. The apartment was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly and very helpful. Good walks nearby through the vineyards were well signposted. "This hotel was wonderful! They welcomed us with champagne to enjoy as they helped with our bags and showed us to our rooms. There were some complimentary snacks and water for us in the room. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The complimentary breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety of food. The location was excellent! I would highly recommend this hotel!"

"For such an expensive hotel, surprised beds were not made up properly every day. Cushions were left on the floor. Breakfast is very expensive and ought to be included when you are paying 300 euros a night. Fantastic building though and wonderful location."

"I didn’t realize that there would be no one at the reception desk of the hotel until 3 pm, so there is no where to leave luggage before check in time. The train station does not have luggage lockers. The apartment building has 4 floors without an elevator, you don’t know your room number until you get your key, we ended up on the 4 floor with 64 stairs! The method for getting your key was pretty slick, you don’t need to go to reception."
