"An absolute wonderful B&B. The room was spacious with a large terrace balcony and a splendid view across the valley. The adjoining restaurant is magnificent, serving fresh local produce and a great breakfast."

"Canfora is well located for a stopover on the Adriatic coast and for visiting Atri. Fabrizio made us very welcome. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, with a modern bathroom. "

"La stanza era indubbiamente carina, ma l'unico punto luce sul comodino aveva la lampadina fulminata, la televisione non riceveva alcun canale, il radiatore a parte emetteva continuo rumori dovuti vorse alla sua dolatazione, in bagno c'era sin dall'arrivo un persistente odore sgradevole divuto sicuramente a reflusso di miasmi della fogna. Poi, per il borgo in cui si trova La strutture, il prezzo pagato è veramente eccessivo. Colazione banale, al bar."

"I stayed at the Hotel Plaza 3 or 4 years ago and loved it; this time, not so much. It is in a great location, the housekeeping staff does a great job, and the breakfast has a pretty good variety. However, the property is rather shabby; the rooms need repainting and the carpet in the room needs to be replaced; I don't think even a good cleaning would help it. After a week's stay, we had an early plane to catch and asked if a breakfast box could be arranged as we would be leaving before breakfast. We were pretty much told no because the breakfast was included in the cost of the room so we hadn't paid extra for it. Instead, we were told to pick up some items from the hospitality bar which we hadn't known existed until that moment. This little room has coffee and snacks available to the guests and the reception clerk should have told us about this on our arrival, but didn't. If we hadn't asked for breakfast boxes on our last day, we would never had known about it. In general, reception was less than helpful and seemed to resent it every time we asked a question, so we stopped asking. There are a few other hotels in this location and I might try one of those next time I go to Pescara."
"This hotel is wonderful… it’s old-style hospitality at its best, and very romantic. The grounds, pool and beach are fabulous, and spotless. Breakfast is fresh, varied and plentiful… staff friendly and accommodating. There is a mercato not far from the hotel where you can pick up some deli bits, fresh bread and fruit for lunch on your balcony (room has a fridge). Silvi itself has seen better days - although some decent pizzerias, seafood places and gelateria can still be found on the main drag. If you are looking for high end restaurants and shops this location is not for you. But if you are looking for a lovely simple beach break this is perfect."
"Im giving this place a high rating because of its staff and excellent service. The building is a bit old but it was very clean and the staff was excellent. It’s difficult to find such pristine service these days and the staff here were more than polite and gentle and helpful. We will most certainly return. The beach was excellent and beach services were top. Grazie per tutto."
"We arrived at the hotel later than we wanted to which is a shame because it was lovely, our room was amazing with 2 balconies with lovely views. The staff were so helpful, the restaurant was fully booked so we asked the chef if we could have room service, nothing was too much trouble and at 8pm the food arrived along with a glass of wine and a beer ☺️ We were so tired we really appreciated it. We sat on the balcony enjoying a lovely meal watching the sunset….thank you. Breakfast was great too."
"Reviews are unfair here. This is a very cheap hotel and you get what you pay for.
The good: Excellent private beach in front, lovely sunloungers free to use and the beach is truly stunning. The hotel is very clean - you can smell the cleanliness in the sheets and everything is polished well. Breakfast is basic but functional. I put it in the "good" because I'm not expecting anything amazing for such a cheap hotel.
The bad: Everything in my room was broken, broken shelves, broken safe, broken hair dryer, broken tap (worked but they had sellotaped it from falling apart), broken shower head (the shower still worked but couldn't adjust height). The building needs a desperate renovation. Some staff seem very uninterested. No pool. Bed too soft so a bit uncomfortable.
All in all I can't complain. Considering this was the cheapest beach hotel I could find in all of Europe during bank holiday when everything is so expensive... It did the job and at least everything was clean."
"Really enjoyed the property. It was very clean. The rooms was spacious. The property was very clean and nicely laid out. The staff was very helpful and the dinner was fantastic. Really enjoyed our stay and will return again."
