Sleeping up to four guests, with a fifth possible on request, it’s perfectly placed for exploring the North Cotswolds, with shops, pubs, restaurants and the mainline station all within easy walking distance.

The space

Four Alpha Terrace is a charming Cotswold home nestled in the heart of Moreton-in-Marsh, making it a wonderful base for discovering the North Cotswolds. Beautifully styled throughout, the cottage combines traditional Cotswold character with modern comforts, creating a relaxing and welcoming place to stay.

With the town's shops, cafés, pubs, restaurants and mainline railway station all within easy reach, you can enjoy the best of Moreton-in-Marsh on foot while also having an ideal base for exploring the surrounding Cotswold villages and countryside.

Four Alpha Terrace sleeps up to four guests (five upon request) and is arranged over three floors, with two bedrooms, a bathroom and additonal toilet in utility room.

The property has plenty of original character alongside thoughtful modern touches, including solid wood flooring, a Cotswold stone fireplace and wood-burning stove. The traditional stable door opens onto the enclosed courtyard garden, providing a private outdoor space to enjoy throughout your stay.

The house has been arranged to make it comfortable for both short breaks and longer stays, with a well-equipped kitchen, dedicated laundry facilities and plenty of storage.

Ground Floor

Sitting room

A cosy living space centred around the Cotswold stone fireplace and wood-burning stove. The room includes solid wood flooring, a three-seater sofa, armchair and footstool, Smart TV, selection of games and coat and shoe storage.

A high chair, hoover and additional storage are also available.

Kitchen & dining room

A well-equipped kitchen with solid wood flooring and everything needed for a comfortable stay, including an electric double oven, electric hob, dishwasher, Belfast sink, fridge, microwave, air fryer, toaster and kettle.

A Nespresso coffee machine is provided with a small starter supply of pods.

The dining area has seating for four guests.

First Floor

Bedroom 1 – Sleeps 2

A comfortable bedroom with a king-size bed, wardrobe, two bedside tables with large drawers, mirror, desk and armchair. A fan is provided for warmer days.

A fold-up cot is also available.

Family bathroom

A spacious bathroom with underfloor heating, roll-top bath with overhead mixer shower, separate large walk-in shower with waterfall shower head, WC and vanity unit with basin and storage.

The room also includes a mirror, shaver socket, heated towel rail and extractor fan.

Utility room

The separate utility room includes a WC and basin, as well as a Miele washing machine and tumble dryer.

Guests also have access to a clothes airer, ironing board and iron, laundry baskets, storage cupboard, cleaning and laundry supplies and a heated towel rail.

Second Floor

Bedroom 2

A charming top-floor bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and flexible sleeping arrangements.

The zip-and-link beds can be arranged as two single beds or one super-king bed by prior request.

A pull-out single trundle bed is also available by prior request, providing additional flexibility for sleeping arrangements.

The room also includes a built-in wardrobe and mirror.

Outside

The cottage has an enclosed, east-facing courtyard garden with a paved, level surface, making it a lovely spot to sit outside and enjoy the morning and daytime sunshine.

There is a table with seating for four, together with a hot and cold outdoor mixer tap and hose, particularly useful for guests travelling with dogs.

Guest access
Guests have private use of the entire cottage and enclosed courtyard garden.

- Maximum occupancy is 4 guests.

- Dogs are very welcome.

- Premium bed linen and fluffy towels are provided.

-Free street parking is available outside or close to the property.

- Strong Wi-Fi with download speeds of approximately 300 Mbps.

- Mobile phone reception is generally good.

- Smart TV with Netflix.

- Gas central heating throughout.

- A starter supply of wood for the wood-burning stove is provided from September to April.

- There are two flights of narrow, steep stairs within the property, with some restricted headroom. Guests should take care when using the stairs.

- Due to the stairs, the property may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. Families travelling with infants or very young children should also be aware of the layout and narrow stairways.

- The smoke and carbon monoxide detectors operate on a sound-only basis. Guests with significant hearing impairment may therefore be unable to hear the alarm systems.

- No smoking or vaping is permitted anywhere inside the property.

- Events are not permitted without prior consent.
- Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 10:00
