Worst hotel I’ve ever been in. I walked right out again without even checking in. Dirty, falling to pieces, sketchy, inadequate parking, zero security, I actually felt unsafe. 10 minute walk to a different location to check in (and for breakfast, if you stay) is a bonus. I booked for three nights at 6pm, arrived at 7pm, canceled and left again five minutes later. Expedia contacted the property who refused a refund, even partially for unused nights. They would not respond to me directly, just ignored me. This place is creepy and disgusting. It is also not the “Extended Stay America” hotel chain you thought it might be. I did. But it’s not just me , read the reviews here - even the highly rated ones are pretty bad. I filed a chargeback with American Express.

The location is not ideal if you want to have easy access to restaurants and stores. The drive to town for anything is about 20 - 25 minutes. We booked this place for aurora viewing but the timing was not right. There's no activity the 3 nights we were there. The management of this place can do better with breakfast choices. I did. not eat anything from the freezer as those items appeared to be there for a long time. There's no even a fresh loaf of bread there for us to make a toast in the morning. The drink options can also be better. There's no diet soda and only two choices of soda. What's wrong with a little bit of everything! I think management is just lazy to restock every day. There's no housekeeping service. I was told it has to be arranged. We saw a guy there on the second day to fix something. I did not see any 'professional' cleaning staff there to clean the two rooms when people moved out. As for our room, when we checked in I noticed the comfortable covers for both beds were no pressed. It's pretty wrinkle like someone just used them the night before. I expected more I guess. Overall, it's an okay stay if you don't want to 'chase' the aurora and still have to ability to view it.

We stayed on one of the cabins and have to say, the bed was the MOST comfortable bed we have ever stayed in. Loved the buffet breakfast and the staff was amazing.
