"The hotel is about a 25 minute walk from the bus station- that’s arriving, as it’s uphill. Returning/ going into town is quicker! To enjoy the best of Santa Teresa Gallura you need a car to get to the beaches; we enjoyed a day and a half of pottering around town/ resting/ eating after a busy Swimtrek week at La Maddelena, but didn’t need longer. Some nice eateries- we recommend the two branches of Sharma and the fish place on your left as you walk from bus station, towards the traffic lights. Hotel is fine but not really 4 star. We appreciated a packed breakfast on our second morning when we left at 6am for airport bus. Staff are kind, warm and friendly"
