"Yellow Birch Lodge in Eagle River Wi, and Mark and Christine Simonides exceeded all of our expectations! We booked as part of a combined Bachelor/Bachelorette weekend for our daughter and future son-in law, in total we had 22 people there (and 9 or 10 vehicles) and there was more than enough room for all of us! Whether it is for host communication, living, or playing, everything you need is right here!From the very beginning the process with the Simonides’ was a joy and they were even able to accommodate an earlier check in and check out for us. Everything went smoothly from check in to checkout, and any questions we had could be answered via the “survival” packet we received and that was left at the house. This house truly has it all, so defiantly pack light. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to go, and if not found in the cabinets it can be found in the pantry. The two refrigerators, phone chargers throughout and laundry are a true asset as well. You will easily be supplied with enough paper products to get you through at least 4 days with 22 people! The furniture is nice and sturdy and plus size/ tall guests can feel comfortable and safe to sit.Never once did anyone fight boredom. The amount of games both inside and out allow for many fun memories to be made! Whether sitting by the fire pit, on a paddle board or the porch fun and relaxation were truly and purely experienced.We hope to be able to book again sometime!"

"We had a wonderful two night stay with Debbie and Alan while we were in the area for my cousin’s wedding. Debbie was an incredibly warm and welcoming host and we really enjoyed talking with her each morning. The breakfasts were outstanding! Generous portions and absolutely delicious. The breakfast burrito and homemade hash browns were some of the best I’ve ever had. Their home is beautiful and perfectly nestled into the landscape- very Frank Lloyd Wright. Alan designed and built the home himself, and we felt fortunate to stay in such a beautiful, artfully crafted place and to meet the architect himself. Alan always greeted us with a kind smile in the morning and Debbie made us feel completely at home. Between the hospitality, the amazing breakfasts, the peaceful setting, and the beautiful house, this was such a memorable stay. We would absolutely stay here again."

"They had almost everything you’d need. Down to a blender nicer than I have at home. Lol they did not have an ice cream scoop. So if you’re making ice cream drinks like we did. Bring one along. Adam was very responsive when I had questions and check in and check out was very clear."
