"First of all, ALL of Lima is loud and dirty so expect some kind of a reflection of that fact in any budget hotel in Lima. It is part of the experience. That given and compared to EVERY other hotel I identified in Lima on Expedia or on foot Hotel Maxys Grau was the best value for the cost. Lima is EXPENSIVE too, unlike Colombia that I have more acclimated to. Everything cost more here than in Colombia or Mexico, so expect to pay more for the same luxuries. The room was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. She particularly appreciated the convenient location.
