About this property
Everybody gets there. Bags come down. You're close to everything you came for. And instead of another cramped, impersonal stop, you've got a clean, cozy place where everyone can actually rest.
Everybody makes it through the door. The trip finally lets go of you. Bags drop. Shoes disappear. Someone claims the couch. Someone vanishes into a bedroom. Nobody's negotiating hotel space or asking where they can escape for five minutes. You're together without being on top of each other — and Montgomery isn't eating up your day. The Capitol is 5 minutes away. Maxwell is 8. Funny how fast travel mode shuts off.
We want you to enjoy your stay! It’s likely you won’t see me during your visit, which allows you more privacy and convenience.
However, I am here anytime you need to reach out. If you need anything or have questions, just send me a message and I’ll be quick to respond.
Cloverdale is a neighborhood within the city of Montgomery. It is the largest garden-landscaped neighborhood in the state of Alabama. It's also one of the oldest, originally built out in the 1800's. Cloverdale is known for many houses designed by European architects throughout history and for the tasteful landscaping that still exists today.

A few things to know before you book:
PRIMARY GUEST The guest who books must be at least 21 years old and must stay at the apartment for the entire reservation. The primary guest is responsible for everyone in their group and any visitors.
RENTAL AGREEMENT Every guest is required to sign a short rental agreement after booking. This is not optional: our property insurance requires a signed agreement for each stay, and our attorneys have advised the same. It covers house rules, check-in and check-out procedures, occupancy limits, and responsibility for damage. It takes about two minutes, and there is no app to download and no account or password to create. We send it after booking along with a brief check-in form, and your access details follow once both are complete.
THE APARTMENT Apartment C is UPSTAIRS, reached by a full flight of exterior black stairs at the back of the building up to a landing, with no lift. That's worth knowing if you have heavy luggage or difficulty with stairs. This is one of four apartments in the building, and other guests may be staying during your reservation, but your apartment is private and exclusively yours. Apartment D is the other door off the same landing.
HOUSE RULES • Maximum 4 overnight guests • Quiet hours 9 pm to 8 am • No parties or events • No smoking or vaping • Pets welcome: up to 2 (dogs 60 lb or under; some breeds are restricted for insurance). $50 pet fee per stay covers all pets. Please add pets to your reservation. • The fireplaces are decorative only and not for use • No commercial photography or filming without our written approval (see below) • Please lock your door each time you leave. It does not lock automatically
DURING YOUR STAY Our cleaning, maintenance, and guest-support team works hard to make your stay great. Airbnb expects guests to be considerate and respectful of hosts and everyone they meet during a stay, and we ask the same toward our team, vendors, and neighbors. Concerns are always welcome. Verbal abuse, threats, or harassment of anyone on our team will be reported to Airbnb.
Please tell us about any damage as soon as it happens so we can sort it out fairly. Please keep total people in the apartment, including daytime visitors, within the guest limit. Please leave the exterior cameras and the indoor noise monitor connected and uncovered.
Commercial photography or filming is only allowed with our written approval before your stay. Approval requires a commercial general liability policy of at least $1,000,000 naming Dreamline Suites as an additional insured. All house rules, guest limits, and parking rules still apply.
GETTING IN & PARKING Come in from the back. The front door does not have a keypad, so your coded entry is at the rear of the building. Park in the gravel lot behind the property. There is room for two vehicles, one behind the other. Take the exterior black staircase up to the landing; C is the door on the left. The door has a coded smart lock deadbolt, and you may need to pull the door to while locking or unlocking so the deadbolt can turn.
PETS The $50 pet fee is a flat fee per stay and covers all pets. Please crate pets when they're left alone, keep them off beds and furniture, clean up after them, and keep them on a leash outdoors. Service animals are always welcome, with no fee.
GOOD TO KNOW The washer and dryer are in the apartment. There is a dedicated desk and chair for remote work, and the sunroom opens onto the front patio.
EARLY CHECK-IN & LATE CHECKOUT Available on request when the cleaning schedule allows. $20 per hour, one-hour minimum. Message us and we'll check with our cleaning team.
BEFORE CHECKOUT Before you head out, please leave used dishes in the kitchen sink or dishwasher, gather used towels in the tub, put trash in the kitchen bin, take your food and belongings, and turn off the lights and A/C. Our cleaning team handles the rest.
LOCAL RULES City of Montgomery Ordinance 29-2026 (short-term rentals): • Maximum occupancy is 2 per bedroom plus 2 (this apartment's 4-guest limit is within that) • Park only in designated spaces. No buses, RVs, or commercial vehicles • Amplified music is allowed indoors only • No weddings, receptions, parties, or events • Trash bins must be kept out of public view except on collection day The city fines the operator $250 for a first violation and $500 for each one after. If a guest's violation results in a city fine, we will request reimbursement through Airbnb's Resolution Center with the citation attached.
SECURITY & MONITORING For the safety and security of our guests and the property, motion-activated cameras are installed on the exterior only. They record audio and video and monitor entrances and outdoor areas. No cameras monitor any indoor area. An indoor noise-monitoring device measures noise levels only. Lots of effort for a cute property. Clean and convenient. Great neighborhood. Fans and AC made it very comfortable. Stairs to entrance were challenging but I am old and have knee issues. Lovely to be up a floor with the trees. Joshua very helpful
We spent two nights in Montgomery as we toured some of the historical locations relevant to the Civil Rights Movement. We found the apartment to be as advertised and very convenient to downtown Montgomery.
We had such a great weekend staying at this amazing condo. It was clean, comfortable, and quite charming. There is a lot of character and charm with the building. It was absolutely perfect for me and my husband. We wanted a quick getaway for a conference we were attending in the area and we would rather stay in quaint little places instead of hotels. We enjoyed our coffee, reading, relaxing, and being close to everything we needed to access while in town. The decorating was simple and tasteful, the beds were comfortable, and we loved the building itself! Thank you for an amazing weekend!
We had a very nice time at this beautiful apartment. Pictures are just as it is, and very clean and decorated so cute. Owner was there at every step of the way to assist us. Thank you again
Southern hospitality at its best! Perfectly delivered as advertised. Great place to stay for anyone visiting Montgomery. Conveniently located, clean, well appointed, a quiet and restful spot in the city to explore all that Montgomery has to offer. Joshua was an excellent host. We look forward to lodging with him again.
Two couples on a southern road trip. This property was clean and homey. It's close proximity to the Legacy Museum, National Memorial for Peace and Justice, and other historical places (mostly downtown) made the location ideal. It is one of four units in a house but smaller than I expected. With one bathroom, it might be better suited for a small family or one couple. A dishwasher would be nice, but the kitchen is compact. Without it, washing dishes and putting them away if you don't like "clutter" becomes necessary. The use of paper towels to dry the dishes could be eliminated with a few dishtowels and the need for more paper towels because a single roll can run out quickly.
The owner (Josh) was pleasant and helpful. When we requested additional towels and washcloths, he provided them promptly. He also gave us recommendations for places to go and restaurants.
Checking in and out involved standard procedures. It was a good experience that could be better with a few tweaks.
It was scary for the first time doing this.
But it was nice and easy. We, ladies, had a great experience. Mr. J. Fields was the best . He made his self available to us.
Thank you all so much
As my first time using Vrbo, I was a little anxious and nervous. But this property exceeded my expectations. The windows brought in so much natural light that I don’t think I turned on the lights at all. It was spacious and clean. I will definitely book again soon.
