"The location is great. But the unit was in poor repair. The carpet was torn and coming up off the floor. The refrigerator was broken and hot on the inside. They did bring a new refrigerator the next day but the ice maker still didn't work. But the huge issue was there was a problem with water in the entire building. "I’ve stayed at Argo about 6 times and I love it. It’s dated and showing wear, but sleeping with the sliding door open and listening to clear creek roll by is amazing. Despite the wear and tear it’s clean, and I’ll always plan on staying when heading into the mountains from KC."

"The rooms on the 4th floor (side that have balconies) there is a building attached with a roof & hvac units blocking the view. We had one of these rooms and it was disappointing. To make matters worse, there were people working on the roof in the morning so we had no privacy to enjoy morning coffee. We asked to move rooms when we saw the room but they said they could not due to maintenance being done on other floors. The hotel room inside was nice and bed was comfortable. Just disappointed to pay for a room that would have a balcony that can’t be enjoyed."

"The place looks brand new and is very well designed. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the large TVs in the rooms were a nice touch. Overall, it’s a beautiful property and we really enjoyed our stay. The only downsides were a couple of maintenance issues. The shower took 5–10 minutes before the water would even get warm, and we couldn’t get the thermostat to work properly, so we were unable to turn on the air conditioning to cool things down. Aside from those issues, it’s a beautiful place and one we would definitely consider staying at again."

"It was as great! Front desk employees were helpful & nice. We used the van to drive us to town & planned on tipping on the return trip. The driver had added 3 please tips jars on the way back . He didn’t say a word to us. Tips are a two way street - the nicer & informative you are the better the tip just fyi . The room & view was perfect!!"
