  • Our cabins are inside the forest, surrounded by nature with a lot of privacy. Built so that you can have direct contact with the trees. Our breakfast is delicious. You can find gas station, store and restaurant very close. All transport of tourist activities can reach here. We have tourist information for the entire Monteverde area, as well as reservations for them.

It was very clean and beautiful. Comfortable bed and nice breakfast items provided. But the main toilet does not work and the maintenance did not fix it. We make do with the 2nd toilet.

This is a beautiful cabin surrounded by forest. It's just out of town and perfectly quiet for some relaxation. The is a wonderful restaurant in walking distance as an added bonus!

The location of this property is great, although we did struggle to find it as there are no signs from the main road! It us very handy for all the amenities of Santa Elena. The accommodation was more basic than we expected and we struggled a bit with this as the weather was so wet during our stay. Everything felt damp! That said, the beds were super comfy, we LOVED waking up surrounded by the trees every morning. Just magical! So very prepared for basic facilities, plan to eat out and enjoy the opportunity to be surrounded by nature.

Spacious treehouse with windows all around to help you feel emersed with the outdoors. Warm blankets provided to help with the nice cool nights. Would definitely stay again! Thank you for the beautiful accommodations.

Very private and quaint. We enjoyed our stay at the chalet. Very clean, Close to all amenities and wonderful hospitality. Providing breakfast essentials was a very nice touch. Very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit Monteverde.

We loved our stay at the Chalet in the Mountains! It is such a beautiful home. Our host had cold beer in the fridge, snacks, oatmeal, and eggs, which was very helpful. We had a small issue with the internet that the host responded to very quickly. The host was attentive, check in was easy, and our kids loved the reading nook and the swing on the porch. It felt very private because the forest is so dense. We chose to sleep with the curtains open so we could look for fireflies. Our kids saw a couple of agouti in the woods. It was about one mile from the main part of town, and there is a market that is easy to walk to. It was the perfect mountain escape! We hope to return someday!

Worked out well for us.

The house worked out. We used it as out base for Monteverde/Santa Elena. It's a short drive to town and there's a nice restaurant and a grocery store nearby. Monteverde was windy while we were there (it often is I am told) and there was some tree noise in the house, but it was safe and comfortable.

A cabin in the forest

Beautiful cabin among the trees. Our cabin #1 was two stories, the beds being upstairs. Floor to ceiling glass windows all around Ronald was very responsive and helpful. Anytime I sent messages through Vrbo I got a prompt response. Quiet, private and comfortable.

Beautiful setting in a good location. Check in could improve.

Loved the cabin and the setting. Clean and comfortable with amazing forest views. Getting checked in was a bit of a process. Have to call a property manager who drives out to the cabin to let you in. We arrived at check in time and waited almost an hour to be let into the cabin. Call well ahead of arrival time. Otherwise a good stay and a great value.

Just okay

The host was gracious to stock the kitchen with eggs water and milk for breakfast. The check in process could be improved. We contacted the host ahead of time with a specific arrival time, but he waited for us to arrive and call before he left to greet us. We waited in the car for about half an hour before he arrived. Our main issue was that we had no hot water in the shower. We were nice and smelly when we got to the next hotel. It is a cute cabin though. Think of it more like camping. The setting is really pretty. I loved al the trees and the privacy.
