Loved the location, the privacy, the quiet courtyard. Room was perfect for 2 with one dog. Bed and pillows were comfy. Easy walking distance to pet friendly breakfast, lunch, and dinner places, plus all of downtown. The beach (off leash) was a bit further, easy to get to, but a bit of a walk back up.

We loved our stay here! Inge at the front desk was so kind and helpful. She gave us all the information we needed for parking and our stay, making it such welcoming experience when we arrived. Parking lot is small, but there are street parking spots around that have no time limit that were easy to access and find. The rooms are quaint, clean, and cozy. The fireplace is such a great touch and we loved using it every night. It is easy to light and has instructions. Free coffee in our room was also a nice touch! The grounds are also beautiful. The Inn is located in the perfect location. Only a 15 minute walk to the beach, walking distance to all the restaurants and shops of Downtown Carmel, and peaceful and quiet at night. We cannot wait to stay here again!

The hotel gave us a family friendly, tranquil vibe the whole time that we stayed for our three day vacation. The location was perfect if you want walkable to restaurants and convenience store. It has a quaint cottage feel, the rooms are big, clean, and staff are friendly. Will come back here again and will recommend it our family and friends.

This hotel is clean but dated! It’s advertised as quaint and charming which the courtyard is but the room is just old with old furnishings. The faucet in my bathroom sink was broken so I got whatever temperature water was running in the other bathroom. It is walkable to some nice restaurants and shops. Parking is very tight! This place just needs a remodel!
