I would clarify that the breakfast was only on the first day and only a bag of cookies and a smashed muffin. And while it is close to some areas of interest, i would make sure to get a few bus tickets if you want to venture further than the Norman palace or Palermo Cathedral. "

"AC wasnt working, but I think that's an Italy thing. As a result the room was overly hot and not as advertised (false claim of AC). It was near many attractions and food places and in a great area. Checkin and checkout were easy and the room was clean. Only a single pillow, but it was adequate enough to sleep. Bed was pretty comfy. I would personally choose another location given the lack of AC and uncomfortable conditions, even if they're forced upon you by the government, it should be noted for people if it's not actually available. "
