"A wonderful quaint, old B&B. Breakfast was excellent and the owners and hosts, Doriano and Giovanna are knowledgeable and kind. They were helpful in providing extra linen, an early breakfast to go, and much valuable instruction on accessing area attractions. Also Tea the lovely lab is a sweet soul. The location is perfectly situated close to the ferry dock. The town of Dongo is precious and quiet and perfect for our needs. I would consider this “rustic” accommodations in the way that if you are looking for soft towels or bed linens with top sheets this is not the place. Towels are scratchy enough to exfoliate. A few woolen dryer balls would alleviate that issue with zero environmental impact. A rug on the floor beside the beds would also be very helpful for the very cold bare floors. The antiques in the room are beautiful but unrestored so the armoire smells a bit of rodent urine and seems slightly unstable. All in all we loved this place."

I wish I could rate it 1000 stars.The apartment was very clean and modern while still offering the incredible history of the building and area.The view of Lake Como is just perfection. My wife and I felt we were living in a dream with the incredible views we had from the balcony and from every window.We felt at home and the entire process was very easy. The check-in process was easy to follow and we were even greeted by a kind gift left for us when we arrived.I cannot wait to come back!"

"This is a beautiful place to stay, Family run, mountain views which are beautiful, peaceful location, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean, large wardrobe space, small side tables with lamps, double bed, dressing table, good sized bathroom with shower. The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels. Breakfast provided Eggs, Croissants, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, also cooked breakfasts coffee machine, freshly squeezed orange juice. Good evening menu with freshly made pizzas, pasta, desserts etc. The Quality of the food served is very good and freshly made. They also do take away pizza and this is also used by the local people , who are also welcomed as customers in the restaurant and bar. There is also a bus down into the town within a 5 minute walk from the hotel which only costs 2 euros. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will hopefully visit again in the future....."

"Das Haus ist an sich sehr schön und bietet viel Platz. Für Kinder ist der Garten eher ungeeignet da de Hang schon recht steil ist. Für ältere Menschen ist es okay. Man kann das Haus mit dem Auto so erreichen, das es ebenerdig ist, hätte aber die Gefahr, das man sich auf dem Schotterweg Scherben in den Reifen fährt. Insgesamt würde ich sagen, das die Zielgruppe dieses Hauses 18-50 Jährige sind, es aber auch mit durchmischten Gruppen ein tolles Haus ist."

"Lovely stay for a week at the apartment Tulipano. We really enjoyed a dip in the pool after a day’s sightseeing & often had the pool to ourselves. All was clean & well equipped. Great tips for restaurants from Michaela who we met on check in. The lake views from the apartment are beautiful & we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony as it was so peaceful. Thanks for a wonderful holiday."

"Das Haus und der Garten waren sauber und ordentlich, Betten super, Küche alles vorhanden, Wohnzimmer genug Platz. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und bei Fragen immer zu erreichen. Leider hatten wir uns vorab die Umgebung nicht genau angesehen. Wer schlecht zu Fuß ist, kommt hier schnell an seine Grenzen. Einkäufe und Restaurants sind dann wirklich nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wer gut gehen kann ist in knappen 20min, über steile Treppen und Wege unten im Ort. Im Ort selbst gibt es zwei Restaurants und ein Café. Boutiquen oder ähnliches sucht man hier vergebens. Direkt hinterm Haus ist ein kleiner Laden schnell und einfach zu erreichen, dort bekommt man das nötgste. Die Cousine der Gastgeberin wohnt mit im Gebäude und „trampelt“ sehr laut, wer morgens länger als 5uhr schlafen möchte und einen leichten Schlaf hat, könnte hier leider Probleme haben. Außerdem hört man drumherum einige Hunde bellen, nachts ist es aber recht still. Wer selbst einen Hund hat der es gewohnt ist sein Geschäft in Wäldern,Feldern und Wiesen zu verrichten hat es hier leider auch ehr schwer. Fazit: wer keinen Trubel in Form von Geschäften etc mag, nicht geräuschempfindlich oder einen leichten Schlaf hat und körperlich fit ist, ist hier gut aufgehoben."
