"A wonderful weekend for 16 at Monnington House for a 50th birthday party.
The house is extremely well set up with 9 very comfortable and well appointed en-suite rooms, with seemingly endless hot water. The kitchen has all the equipment you could need to cater for a large group and there is space to sit all together both inside and also out on the terrace (including large BBQ). 3 sitting rooms each with their own log burners meant that there was always somewhere to find a bit of space - not...

"When we arrived a notice said we could order logs for the hot tub but on contacting the person he was away until the following week so a bit disappointing Also it stated shampoo body wash etc would be available but we had nothing The overall experience was brilliant just a couple of little tweaks needed

"very private, huge gardens, lovely welcome basket. very comfortable beds with fresh bed linens and towels, plenty of hot water and of course the hot tub!only thing we could say is the walls/kitchen windows and banister were a bit grubby, they really need a good clean . excellent location to access local attractions and a fab pub a couple of miles away serving gorgeous food.star gazing was beautifulX we could see the milky way"

"Beautiful accomodation that looked out on to story book scenes of vast green countryside.
The accommodation is clean and well equipped with plenty of space for 2. Comfortable bed made a good nights sleep easy.
The owners have planned and thought of everything you need for the perfect stay. The firepit is great and doubles as a grill for outdoor cooking. The double hammock was a really nice touch too.
Hot tub is lovely for star gazing at night.
100% recommended.

"Very nice cottage in the Herefordshire hills near the Welsh border. Very well equipped. We had a most pleasant stay at the cottage. A very nice -though long, walk is to the Bridge Inn in Kentchurch via Garway Hill. "

"Andy's place is ideal - a short walk from the bookshops and cafes of Hay, as well as from the Warren. There's a little playground nearby for younger children and the street is very quiet. The house is lovely - the rooms are spacious, the furniture beautiful and comfortable, and all the added extras (books, toys) were really thoughtful. A fabulous base for a tri to Hay-On-Wye."
