「WATER EMERGENCY. Located on the edge of town with short walk to anything needed. I booked a 2 night stay, but only stayed one night because I became aware of an island-wide water emergency during the stay. The bathroom smelled terrible. Not sure if this was related to the water emergency or not. This was not communicated in the listing or check in instructions. Only when specifically asked about it did the property manager say the water was safe for hygeine, which contradicted local reports...
