"Pros: Pasamos genial nuestra semana de vacaciones y fue un acierto. Espacio grande y amplio para estar por la noche y también el de la piscina para disfrutar de ella durante el día. Lastima que hubo tormenta dos días seguidos aunque a mis sobrinos no les importo. Las habitaciones estan dotadas de ac. y con baño que es importante. "Property was beautiful- clean, very spacious, well appointed. Check-in was timely. Staff was polite and competent, but not as helpful and outgoing as many places."

"Loved this Parador. Reception desk on arrival were so helpful. Swimming pool was so nice to relax. The gardens were super and we were told, at the desk, to also stroll around them in the evening, which we did. Splendid! Rooms were spotless and spacious, so thank you staff behind the scenes. Loved Chinchon a small but fascinating town made better by this beautiful hotel. The only downside was the evening meal, which was disappointing. Might have been our choice of steak rather than local cuisine. English spoken at the desk but not in the town, so have google translate or marry a linguist like I did!"

"Few tips if you are going here: - If you want to eat lunch or dinner in the restaurant on site you have to whatsapp them to reserve a table. Do this as early as possible - we arrived mid afternoon and messaged asking for a table - no reply. When we went directly to the restaurant, we were told no as we didnt have a reservation even though it was half empty. So we had to leave and find somewhere off site- you have to have a car for this as others have said it is off grid. - Reception is a toll booth type box in the middle of the complex - they shut the windows so it does look shut but it isnt. - Others have mentioned the smell, it isnt unbearable but is noticeable. - It is quiet and the lodges are comfortable but not doable without a car and the ability to use whatsapp!"
