No air conditioning

The hotel is part of a shared building and has air conditioning which is not under their control and is not switched on until the middle of June. We stayed at the end of May for six nights, in fairness the temperature was higher than normal but it was unbearably hot in our room. It was impossible to have the door to the balcony open all night because the hotel is situated on a busy road and is constantly noisy. If we could have moved to another hotel we would but everywhere was full due to it being the Grand Prix weekend. Even when the air conditioning is working you have no control over the temperature in your room you have to request changes at reception so I am not sure how effective it would be.

Menton
