"We stayed here for 9 days and I have not enjoyed another resort as much I have enjoyed southern palms, the food, staff, rooms, location and service is amazing. I could not fault it one bit and I will definitely be coming back. Thank you to the staff and management at Southern Palms ♥️"

"Beautiful looking. Clean pools. Friendly and welcoming staff. Amazing white sand beach. Aggressive monkeys. Appalling food hygiene - got ill on 2nd day. Left on 4th morning when I was well enough to travel. Hot food not actually hot. Orange juice watered down so it was a pale yellow colour. Flies everywhere in the food pavilion in and around the buffet. A lot of food not covered. Salads etc not kept in cool cabinet, just out in the open. Tablecloths filthy and not changed while we were there....

I fell in love with Mombasa, Kenya and this was my second time visit within two months time frame. We got there around 2am due to the late flight schedule. "The hotel was a nightmare, I could never recommend this hotel to anyone. Everything was terrible, even the friendliness of the stuff could not hide the terrible condition this place is in. "The location is pretty good, the way to the ocean is close, but pretty rough. A good store is not within walking distance, but a 3 minute tuk-tuk ride away. The apartment is ok, a bit outdated, but roomy. The pool is spacious, looks outdated but clean, the good part is that there are usually not many people there. The guards at the property are very friendly."
