Great hosts Mark and Dawn

We were greeted with drinks and cake when we arrived the room was spacious and set up ready for our dog when we arrived both mark and Dawn clearly love dogs so if your thinking of bringing your pooch this is the place to bring them .

we'd come again!

We were very comfortable in a handsome traditional room. Breakfast was generous and I'd have no hesitation in recommending to others. Hosts were attentive and welcoming, especially Mark!

Great welcome even though it was just inside the door, (a bit cramped). Good to be offered refreshments after a long journey. The room was adequate, the bed large , although the pillows slipped between the headboard and mattress , comfortable though. The bathroom sink was small and cramped as the shower screen hampered movement. OK for a one night stay.

Friendly and helpful proprietors. Nothing was too much trouble. Cups of tea and homemade biscuits on arrival.

Excellent B&B

Stayed for one night en route to Oban the welcome was warm and friendly and the complimentary tea and cake was very nice touch, the room which was front double with ensuite shower was very good, and the excellent breakfast before we left next morning everything was absolutely brilliant many thanks and we will definitely be booking again next time we're up that way.

Mark and Dawn are very friendly, welcoming hosts. The room was warm, comfortable and very clean. As mentioned by other visitors there were some tasty home baked treats with the tea making facilities which were a lovely addition as was a small thermos of fresh milk provided on arrival. The breakfast options were many and beautifully cooked. We heartily recommend a stay at No. 29.

Excellent Accommodation

Went up to Moffat on 27th December 2018 for a wedding at nearby Auchen Castle. Lovely little town with decent pubs and food choices. Accommodation and hosts excellent!

One of the nicest B&Bs I have stayed so far in Scotland. The B&B is located central in Moffat, but you can park in the streets around it. Restaurants, Supermarkets, pubs are all in walking distance. The owners are really friendly and helpful, and look after their guests. The room was great and would be big enough for a longer stay for two people. I even got some homemade cookies for my welcome-tea. I slept very well and the breakfast next morning was as good as the whole stay. If I come back to Moffat, I will definitley book here again (if vacant ;-) ). Thank you very much!

Wonderful place to stay.

This is the 2nd time this year we have stayed with Mark & Dawn. They are a lovely couple & make you feel so welcome. The B&B is very clean & the bed was very comfortable. Lovely bathroom & the shower was wonderful. The breakfast was great with a wide variety of things to choose from. Mark & Dawn have a great sense of humour & can’t do enough for you. We will definitely be booking with them again for next year. They are dog friendly, The rooms have tea & coffee making facilities but Dawn makes you a drink when you get there, along with some of her home baking.

Comfortable and welcoming

We stayed overnight on our way to and from our holiday, and 29 Well St was a perfect place to break our journey. Dawn and Mark made us feel very welcome in their home. The rooms have been thoughtfully equipped and we had a very comfortable and peaceful overnight stay each way. Moffat is a lovely little town with great traditional shops.

The room was comfortable, the breakfasts were excellent, but best of all, the hosts, Mark and Dawn, were really friendly and helpful. They made our four days in Moffat especially enjoyable.
