The rooms are spacious, cozy, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the style of the period while still offering modern comfort. There is parking available, which is a great convenience if you’re traveling by car. One downside is that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be a bit uncomfortable in hot weather. However, given the age and style of the building, it’s understandable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. As for breakfast, it’s fairly basic—not outstanding, but perfectly adequate to start the day. "Very nice hotel near the main street. The restaurant was very good with traditional Thuringian food. It looks like the restaurant is used by locals too. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options available. The room was functional and the bathroom seemed newly renovated. The hotel had a sauna, but I didn’t use it."

"I like the hotel, however they have changed some of the things at breakfast: no croissants anymore, no specialty cheeses amongst others, which were two of the highlights for me. and that while pricing is going up the rest was fine"
