「I had the unfortunate situation when my Land Cruiser broke down in the challenging roads in Madagascar. I called Expedia but they were not much help. Expedia told the only way they could cancel was for them to contact the hotel. Knowing the challenges with calls in Madagascar, I told Expedia I would call myself as I am here in the country. Sandra answered right away and after I explained my situation told me she would consult with Oliver, the property manager the next day as it was almost 10 pm....

It is not as modern and hotels closer to the main city, but when you are out in the forests of Lemur land, this is pretty good. I will definitely come back 」

「There is something very special about this place and the people working there. Our room was large, modern, surrounded by amazingly well-maintained flower gardens and grounds. Mark and the staff are incredibly accommodating and luckily for us spoke English. Fine food, outdoor dining, great tunes, terrific vistas, and incredible night walk to see birds and lemurs and chameleons and frogs and lizards, and the place is fantastic.
