"The lodge was wonderful and we had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room. We also appreciated the laundry facilities. However, when we first arrived, there two very unfriendly (bordering on rude) employees at the front desk. The person on the desk later was much better."

"Super friendly staff, the rooms were very clean, the shuttle worked out perfect. The lack of AC was the only issue, as our room faced the water and it was sunny and warm, but it wasn't horrible at all. Its a very pretty hotel with lots of history in the PERFECT location.. Everything is walkable. The front desk staff was wonderful and very friendly. I will totally stay there again on my next trip to Ketchikan!"

"The room was clean and quiet, the bed and pillows comfortable, and the amenities were fine. It would have been nice to have 2 bathrobes instead of just one, but we got by ok. We ate in both the pub and diner and had really good food and service in both places. We enjoyed our overnight stop in beautiful Ketchikan very much! The trick to enjoying coastal Alaska (like anywhere worth seeing) is to not look too closely at prices."
