They need to do some maintenance and upgrades on this property. Walls have plaster patches all over them that haven’t been sanded down or painted over. Bedding is old and fabric is pilled. I did think that the sheets were clean. The front desk was friendly. For over $150 a night, I expected a better maintained hotel.
Room was nice, and clean and quiet 😊
The man at check in was very nice and friendly and efficient
Breakfast was a little scant.
I I would stay here again if in the area
Thank You, have a Great day
Spent 5 days in town for a funeral. The room was pretty clean, but a couple things like the stained toilet bowl showed that it hadn't been deep cleaned recently. There were a dozen unpainted splotches of joint compound on the walls. The corner lamp had no light bulb.
Plus - the A/C worked well and kept us comfortable during the heat wave while we were there. There is a pool that would be attractive to families, but we did not use it. The mini fridge/freezer worked well. We didn't use the microwave.
Minus - no housekeeping whatsoever. When the towels got saturated and the garbage cans overflowed, it was up to us to track down someone to swap them out. No vacuuming or linen changes at all.
Overall - I would avoid if possible. It's over priced for the quality, but they can charge what they do because it's a small town with no chain options and not many alternatives.
Parking was easy. The beds were comfy and there were extra pillows and blankets in the room. The TV with Roku/Netflix/Disney Plus options were also convenient!

Clean room, very small breakfast. Great price. Friendly staff
A very nice place to stay if you need to go to Mio
The hotel is awesome and just a few hundred feet from the river. We visited in late December 2024 so we didn't get a chance to actually go down to the river, but there are other places to get to the river then from the hotel.
