Our stay at Orto Paradiso was everything we hoped it would be and more! The views are absolutely stunning, and the beautiful, lush grounds only add to the magic of this property. Filomena has thoughtfully curated such a special and unique stay, from the delicious, freshly prepared breakfasts to the carefully selected design of the rooms, and the gorgeous swimming pool, each space privileged to the amazing views. She was also so helpful in recommending local spots and helping us arrange transportation for our outings. The steps are a small price to pay for such a lovely experience at Orto Paradiso!

The staff, Filomena, Maria and Eugenio were super friendly and helpful all the time. The view is just amazing, just like the name of the B&B, a paradise. What was nice is that it is still a small hotel, which allows it to be very personal. The pool was a definite asset, the rooms were very comfortable, and included a little kitchen. Breakfast, Italien style, was plentiful with lots of home-baked goods and stunning views. Lots of lovely corners to sit and enjoy the view. The garden with lemon and olive trees was beautiful. We enjoyed walking to the Minori center for drinks and dinner.

Honestly, I couldn’t recommend Orto Paradiso more highly. Filomena and the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always so helpful—they truly made our stay memorable. Breakfast each morning was delightful, and it was my boyfriend’s birthday while we were there; Filomena went above and beyond to make it extra special. The room and facilities were extremely comfortable and spacious, and the view over Minori was stunning. There are quite a few stairs to reach the hotel, so it’s worth keeping that in mind when booking—but the climb is absolutely worth it once you arrive. Minori itself is quiet and relaxing (not overly touristy), which made it perfect for our six-night stay. I would highly recommend this place—an easy 10/10 🇮🇹💚🤍❤️

This is a 5 star property with fabulous views. We had the Triple superior room and it was perfect with a private balcony. Fabio is lively and helps book trips. Minori is simply gorgeous.

Fantastisk lille b&b oppe på bjerget. Dejlig udsigt og ejeren Fabio gør alt for at gøre opholdet til en oplevelse. Kræver en god fysik, da der ikke er en vej, men mange trapper ned til byen. Vil absolut vende tilbage ❤️

Wonderful stay

Wonderful stay with spectacular views! Fabio and his team were great. We had a small room issue when we arrived which Fabio sorted out straight away with no fuss. Rooms were comfortable with views directly over the coastline and the pool was just the thing to cool off on the hot summers day. The breakfast in the morning was tasty and fresh with excellent coffee. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here on your Amalfi coast trip.

När man ser bilderna kan man tro att det är iscensatt, men frukosten med utsikten är precis så fantastisk som bilderna visar. Vi var väl förberedda på att det låg en bit upp och att trappor var ett måste att ta sig upp för. men det var helt klart värt det. Vi var här i slutet av oktober och vädret var något osäkert, men vi kunde inte vara mer nöjda.

Fantastisk utsikt och gästvänlig värd.

Fantastisk fint och supertrevlig värd.Skulle varmt rekommendera detta boende till alla. Det som tillkommer är alla trappsteg ca 165 st så inget för den som inte kan gå i trappor. Skulle gärna åka tillbaka.

The view is spectacular. Fabio the owner was very helpful with our needs and giving us suggestions for day trips. Tanya's breakfasts were delicious. There are only eight rooms so it is quiet and each room has wonderful views. The property is set in a lemon orchard. There were beautiful flowers and trees full of lemons outside our room. We certainly recommend this lovely place.

Fantastic!!!!

Our stay was amazing - Fabio, Lorraina and the team could not do enough for you!! The 178 steps are hard to do at first but you get used to it - the views make it for it in bundles. Highly recommend this hotel, it has so much character and the staff are so so lovely. Thank you for having us. Can't wait to come back. Best Wishes

Traditional & Beautiful setting!

The location albeit after a climbing up a substantial amount of steps was blissful, the views were wonderful, the team were a delight, they were helpful and insightful. this is a family fun hotel and has been in the family for generations, I believe that this makes the hotel more of a personable experience. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning. The location, in my opinion was one of the best on the Amalfi coats, if you want to experience 'real' Italian' life then make sure you stay in this location. I prefer a location with minimal tourists which this was, however still in a great location to be able to get around the Amalfi coast buy boat/ferry or car. I will definitely be returning here in the near future! Orto Paradiso, thank you for having us.

We really enjoyed our stay at Orto Paradiso. We were warmly welcomed by Filomena with a fresh lemonade. Our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was fresh with healthy options and plentiful. We were able to cook a few simple meals in the kitchenette, which saved us from climbing the many steps up and down in the evenings. We managed the walk from town and steps hard but ok considering we're in our sixties! The views across the Amalfi coast were magnificent from our terrace space. Filomena gave us good advice about local information and helped us to book taxis to and from the airport and to Pompeii. We walked the steps from the property to Rovello. Hard work but worth it as was the lemon path walk to Maiori from the other side of town. We stayed in May and experienced unusually stormy weather for the time of year and ferries were cancelled. We took the local 'Sita' buses to Amalfi (15 Mins) and to Positano.They were often full and difficult to board, so we took early buses at 7.30AM. The bus back from Amalfi in the afternoon could be quite chaotic with the crowds of people. There's a little souvenir shop near the main road in Minori that sells bus tickets and a Sita staff worker by the 'round' seated area in Amalfi who is difficult to spot. Signage for buses quite poor. Overall, we had a lovely holiday. We liked the small town of Minori and as mentioned at the start the accommodation was perfect for us. Thoroughly recommend staying here.

Americans beware. After staying here you may never go home! If you are looking for a local, romantic place to enjoy a view of the sea, look no further. Every detail of this place was amazing. This is one of those places I almost want to give a bad review just so no one else will go there and it can be my secret:)! However, the generous spirit of the staff is contagious and I can’t say enough. The breakfast is wonderful - made to order if you like, or fresh yogurt and homemade pastries and fruit. It’s small, so we all had a personal breakfast spot overlooking the water. The pool was clean and glimmering. The staff speaks English well and they had written directions to all of the best local places. The 150 stairs are genuine. If you have mobility issues this will be very difficult. But we are 55 and soft, and took our time up and down the stairs multiple times with no problem. It was invigorating to feel like we were in better shape when we left than when we arrived. While the desk isn’t open 24-hours, Filamena always responds quickly to WhatsApp- very helpful! I think our favorite things were the view of the sea and the warm welcome from Filamena and her team. Gianni (spelling?) ported my suitcase full of souvenirs up those stairs with a smile! She asked about our anniversary and always greeted us with patience and joy. Our room had a small terrace where we could sit outside to enjoy the evening - we heard music rise from the town and the hourly bell tower…Book it!

We spent an amazing fortnight at Orto Paradiso. The property is in a stunning location on the hillside above Minori, a lovely little town on the Amalfi coast, which has everything you need without the crowds of the big names nearby. The people running the hotel are friendly and helpful, and the place feels very quiet and chilled, with beautiful views. The breakfasts are delicious, and the pool is the perfect size for a refreshing dip. We stayed in the superior quadruple which had enough space inside for a double bed, two single beds, a very handy kitchenette and bathroom. The airconditionning in the room works very well, but we spent most of our time out on the lovely large terrace outside the room which has two seating areas and fantastic views. The steps up to the property do require some effort, but are more than worth it for the incredible location. We walked to and from the seafront in Minori at least once a day, and managed fine, (taking 10-20 mins depending on whether we were going up or down), but there is a public bus which will take you just over half way (as close as you can get by road), if you prefer. Do take mosquito repellant - the rooms are surrounded by beautiful vegetation, and tmozzies like it too! We highly recommend this place!

The most beautiful property! The view was exceptional of the coast. The host was extremely kind and helpful. She assisted us in making a boat reservation which was also wonderful. There are a lot of steps but worth it!

Hidden gem in Minori

Fantastic hidden gem in Minori! A lot of stairs to climb, but the service, the views and the place itsekf makes it 100% worth it. Big plus for the lovely breakfast on the terrace, as well as the pool. We would definitely book this place again!

Perfekt sted til hygge og afslapning mm.

Fantastisk sted der kun har 8 værelser, har en helt unik udsigt over havet, bjergene og byen. Fabio og hans kusine, der passer stedet er bare så hyggelige, at man med det samme føler sig velkommen. Kan kun anbefale dette sted, til par der vil nyde Amalfikysten’s natur mm.

Site fantastique avec une vue surplombant la mer et le village de Minori, Petit déj sous les oliviers, en terrasse, avec vue fantastique, Gentillesse et serviabilité des hôtes, Attention, il faut grimper des escaliers pour y accéder, mais ça permet de faire du sport, et la récompense est à la hauteur une fois arrivés!
