Beautiful old-style inn with pretty interior. Full service restaurant, difficult to find at this time. Friendly staff were very helpful. Clean and organized to keep us safe. It’ll be our go-to for visiting family in MN
Where do I begin? This became my favorite Minneapolis hotel. I wish I could have spent more time in the room, but it was a quick visit. Everyone on the staff was fantastic, helpful and polite. Room was clean, bedding was out of this world. Location was in a nice, quiet area. An older building, so don’t expect glitz and glamor. But if you want the feel of a nice, quaint hotel, then this is up your alley. There’s parking, which can’t be said of a lot of other city hotels. Best night of sleep I’ve had in a long time.
The only issue I had was the Wi-Fi didn’t work for me, but I didn’t need it because I was gone for most of the evening. The price point worked for me and I want to come back here.
This place put me in a great mood and I was able to keep it for my drive home. Thank you so much.
Nicollet Island Inn is an excellent place to relax and forget about the busy bustling city outside. View was amazing, even in the winter. The bar was quaint and elegant. And having an actual key was the perfect cherry on top
Loved its location right near downtown Minneapolis and also it being on a wonderful tiny island in the Mississippi River. Great restaurants too...can eat inside or outside.
The check in was smooth. The room was beautiful and brought you back to an earlier time with how it was furnished. The bartender at Nics was awesome. Breakfast was great and the service excellent.
The lotion and soap smelled great and you do not need to bring shampoo, conditioner or body wash as they are in dispenser in the shower. And they smelled awesome as well.
The only complaint on the property is that the pillows are a little hard.
Only one daily newspaper for entire inn - really???
Shutters in room were broken so couldn’t shut out outside lights.
Inn located right on lovely and historic trail but hostess had never heard of it when i asked about it.
Great place, but missing a few of the little things. Wonderful food though
Quaint, lovely hotel. Informative staff. The only thing missing was a small refrigerator in the room. Loved having coffee ready right outside of our bedroom each morning though!
It was nice - very historic property. You can go on the St. Anthony Falls Heritage Trail and see the Stone Arch Bridge and the falls. The bridge right out front to the island is also historic.
A very quiet and classy old school hotel -- décor, furniture, carpeting, halls, walls, decorating, and front desk area felt comforting and welcoming. Same with the bar and restaurant - the bartender, I swear, had a vest and his name was probably Jeeves. The hotel, remarkably in the middle of the city, on an island in the Mississippi between Northeast and the city skyline, feels like a country house - flowers, the river flowing on both sides, trees and vines, several dining and night spots just across the little bridge and up the hill. Something out of the past.
