「I stayed for 16 night in the 3 bedroom house. Very comfortable and clean. Would highly rate the stay. A couple of things not working but let staff know, at end of my stay. Wasn't urgent to mention as it didn't have any impact on my stay. Only consideration I would mention is to supply better cookware, eg: saucepan set. The other facilities were excellent, crockery, cutlery, microwave, kettle, glassware. All good and clean. Loved having a lock up garage for security. Quiet location.」

「We were blown away by our stay in this wonderful property. It is small boutique hotel which has been immaculately restored by the owners. We had a suite consisting of a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. It was well equipped, warm and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the adjacent Commodore Hotel and the food was very good. This is one of the best places we have stayed in on our Australia trip.」

「Absolutely appalling and unacceptable behaviour from the motel owner! We simply wanted to extend our stay for one night, but due to poor communication between reception and staff, the owner turned up at our door without even knocking and rudely demanded why we were still there, insisting we pay first. 「Our suite was extremely spacious. Well appointed. Comfy bed. Reverse cycle heating and cooling. Reasonable location. Blackout curtains and wooden venetians worked well. The shower was a good size though leaked a lot and the tiles felt slippery or slimy not sure which - maybe both. There was a wooden shower base over the tiles to stand on. The spa bath was great. 「This place is perfect for the business traveller. Although parking is a bit of a squeeze, the rooms are spacious, comfy bed, have a great desk to work at, (no freezer in the fridge, though...) and walking distance to everything useful - supermarkets, food, pubs, banks and so on. This is not a 5 star rated premises (probably 3-4 star rating) but it is 5 star for the price. This will be my first choice in future when in Mount Gambier.」
