「It was a very beautiful historic hotel. Close to everything. We could walk to anywhere we wanted to go. Having places to eat nearby and in the hotel was a plus. Bed was super comfortable!」

Simon was great. Friendly and full of tips and ideas to help make the most of our time in Dubuque. We stayed in Florence’s room, which had great views of the city, and the bed in the turret with curved windows all around. We would highly recommend staying here.

As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily.
