Greeted upon arrival and given tour and history of property. Short time later provided cheese tray and choice of wine on screened in porch with the other guests, followed by fresh baked cookies. Very enjoyable. Short walk to the downtown area for all the dining and shopping areas, great location. Room was very clean and in good condition. Slept very well on the bed. We will stay here again on another Galena visit.

This was our first time staying at Aldrich Guest House, but we will definitely be back. Our hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious! A short walk to the shops, the location was perfect. We really enjoyed our last minute getaway stay.

We loved the Aldrich House.

Fantastic experience. The Aldrich House is lovely and the owners make the stay comfortable and welcoming. Our room was perfect for our needs. The breakfast was one of the best ever and we can’t wait to return.

The new owners made us feel very welcome. The property is impeccable. Only disappointment was the breakfast, which was beautifully presented, but not substantial (no choice, no fruit, no toast, no meat protein.) Oatmeal followed by avocado toast and one egg)

The owners were very nice, friendly, and accommodating. The rooms are all updated and clean. The food was excellent as was the complimentary afternoon cocktail hour. Very walkable and close to downtown. Highly recommend.

My wife and I truly loved staying at the Aldrich House. The service was top notch!! Great conversations, great breakfast! Very clean and tidy! Owners went over and above to please. Also had a great happy hour in screen porch area. Richard and Douglas were the Bomb!! Would definitely like to do again soon.

We were completely amazed by our stay in Galena ! Our hosts, Robert and Douglas were wonderful to visit with, experts at the Galena history, restaurants and activities in and around Galena. Our daily breakfasts were all made with fresh ingredients expertly prepared! Cocktail hour was just as exceptional. Our room was beautiful, impeccably clean, with a beautiful view of their many flower gardens. The house was well laid out with many options for relaxation. All of our fellow guests were wowed by their stay, we all voiced the exceptional service, beautiful breakfasts and witty conversation with our hosts. I will always remember what a warm and inviting visit we enjoyed with Robert and Douglas. Thank you so much!

The innkeepers had luxury hotel experience from Chicago and it showed. Place was beautiful, perfectly maintained. Service was impeccable. Breakfast was delicious. They think of everything. There are even things to purchase, like bottles of wine, even though it's a B & B.

Great stay at Aldrich Guest House

Comfortable room, great breakfasts, and tasty drinks each evening. And, the owners were friendly and interesting to talk with. Also a convenient location - just a ten minute walk to Main Street. Very nice BnB in a very cute town.
