This was a very clean and comfortable house Lovely welcome by the host and the breakfast was superb. the guesthouse is very well situated in the town for shopping and not far from bus stops and the Railway. We would thoroughly recommend this holiday guest house and hope to return.

A warm welcome and speedy check in on arrival. Lovely clean well decorated room, comfortable bed. Great home-made food with a large choice. Lovely people - will definitely stay here again.

Lovely relaxing break

Warm welcome on arrival, spotless accommodation and delicious breakfast. Conveniently placed for town centre, seafront and West Somerset railway. With the added bonus of on site parking, Montrose guest house really does tick all the boxes and we are looking forward to visiting again soon.

Lovely weekend at Montrose B and B

This is a lovely bed and breakfast that we would go back to. The location close to the Main Street together with the on site parking made it ideal to use all the local amenities. The owners are friendly, welcoming and provided a delicious breakfast with a wide choice of cooked options. The room was spotlessly clean and lovely and warm.

Breakfast menu excellent. Room cleaned & serviced everyday & bedlinen changed midweek. Fresh milk in cooler coffee,biscuits etc replenished each day. Excellent friendly hosts, nothing too much trouble. Will certainly recommend & revisit.

This is an excellent property. The landlord and landlady are very friendly and eager to help. The place is extremely clean. Breakfast is made fresh and there is plenty of choice. The location is perfect and close to all the main attractions. I would stay here again if I visit the area.

Stay at the Montrose.

Lovely time in Minehead at the Montrose Guest House. Excellent accommodation and lovely breakfast. Very close to town and on-site parking. Great hosts, very helpful, and will stay there again if we return to that area.

Great stay

The premises were spotless. The breakfast room was covid secure. My husband and I felt really comfortable. The hosts were lovely and made us feel welcome. I really enjoyed my vegetarian breakfast and my husband enjoyed his full English. They cater for all tastes including things like decaff coffee and delicious brown toast. The poached eggs were done to perfection. The b and b is in a good location. Dunster Castle is a short drive away. Well worth a visit. We also went to Lynton and Lynmouth which didn't take too long. Another good place to visit. We were in a quiet location but the high street in Minehead is at the top of the road.

My stay at Minehead

I am now in my mid 70s and have stayed in many Hotels and Guest houses over my life time, This Guest house was one of the cleanest i have stayed in, The proprietor was very welcoming and polite,The large Breakfast was most welcoming and set me up for the rest of the day. I do not often give such glowing reports but this Guest house i give Ten out of Ten.

Wouldn’t stay anywhere else

I’ve been coming to minehead for 6 years and took me a while the find the right place. Would never stay anywhere else. Lovely room and they take so much pride in cleaning and customer service. Amazing people who couldn’t do enough for you. Feels just like been at home, lovely stay

I like most aspects of the guest house. My only suggestion is that the owners have a downstairs toilet for guests but the service was great especially for the time I'd visited Mine head.
