Modern style with nature around, a perfect vacation home

The perfect vacation home for a group. The house is located on a very quiet street set back from the road on a one acre lot with front wooded area, giving guests great privacy. The home was completely renovated in 2018 and fully furnished. The house is in close proximity to the Milwaukee river. Enjoy lounging on the back patio, grilling, or sitting around the fire pit. Located in the heart of Mequon, WI, just a 5 min drive from the highway. Come enjoy a nice quiet stay.

The space:
The house is completely furnished with furniture, kitchen supplies, bed linens, and towels. Laundry washer and dryer are provided. Stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, hardwood floors throughout.

Air conditioning, heat, patio, dishwasher, garage parking, hardwood floors, high speed internet, laundry room, microwave, oven/range, pet friendly, refrigerator, hood, and more.

In the basement you can enjoy the ping pong table or if you feel like sweating, kick the punching bag :)
Other things to note

the house is a one min drive from a kayak launch area. In the garage we have kayaks you can use going to the river.

Loading a video to view the door code was a little tricky, only 1 LTE bar at that location for T-mobile. That said, the way the lock works is kinda non-intuitive (the wait for lights to come back on) so...The shower handle in the non-master bath might be on upside down.

Perfect Location for Family Stay

I needed a convenient, large location for family members coming to visit for the Holidays. The Schwemer House was ideal. The bedrooms were comfortable and well-appointed. The bathrooms were clean and newly remodeled. The kitchen was open to the living area and dining table so it was easy to be part of the conversation and fun as meals were prepared. Altogether, it is a terrific place for the cost. I highly recommend it and will probably use it again for next year's Holiday season.

Great location, quiet neighborhood, lots of trees

House located in semi rural part of Mequon, with lots of trees. Nice walking & still close to town activities. And layout & decor of house is nice. That’s the good part. I’ve stayed in many short term rentals, this by far is the least cared for property. Difficult to get into house as given wrong door code. Took 45 minutes to get correct code & get in house. First night, had to wash dishes before using them , as they were sticky. House description says four beds- fourth bedroom is stiff hard sofa bed with no sheets. It is Not a double bed. Our group had to bunk up, as couldn’t use it. These are all things that could be remedied- but need to be addressed.

Beautiful house, fabulous location

The house is across the street from the river in a quiet, relatively secluded location. A great place for hiking, even in the early spring. Yet it's close to great restaurants and fun shops. Can't wait to come back!

Great little house

Even better than advertised. This was a very organized home that was a great place to recoup during a local conference. 4 adults stayed comfortably. Even the sofa sleeper was above average.
