"Had a wonderful time. 1st time staying on a house boat. It was unique experience. Everyone was so friendly, facilities were all neat and clean and Kelly at the store/office was terrific. "The property was the perfect place for our family get together during a tough time. Enough room for everyone to hang out together or have their own space too. Can only imagine how much more wonderful in the summer it can be with the pool. The Host was great with communication and information. Just also cant say enough of being able to watch the sunrises along the river. Would definitely stay here again."

"Very quiet neighborhood and close to grocery store, gas station & DQ. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Plenty of room to spread out throughout the house. Perfect for our family gathering. Loved being able to have our dog, and backyard was fully fenced so no worries about her getting out. Property was exactly as described. Had a few minor issues and owner was super responsive. Overall a very nice stay!"

"My sister lives nearby in a very small house, so we’re all congregated at this vrbo. It was wonderful! The home was so well stocked - were grilled out, played cards and trivial pursuit and had a great time. The home was clean. There was coffee, oil for cooking, spices, pans…everything! We ran out of propane and they were prepared with a spare. I can’t recommend highly enough!"

"This place was so nice stayed for two nights kids begged for a 3rd. Saw turtles,beavers, muskrats. Both kids caught their first fish ever right off the dock. Definite core memories. Beds/bedding were comfy and clean. Beach around the corner. If you need there are public swimming pools near. We went to mt carrol public pool and it was perfect. Have already booked stay for next year!! Thank you!"

"The house looks small, however it is spacious and has been beautifully redone. We were all pleasantly surprised how comfortable the beds were. Overall our stay at the stone house and the hosts (Jon and Patti) were beyond our expectations!"

"We came back for a memorial service and used the time to have an early Christmas with family. There was a great charcuterie waiting for us and tons of baking ingredients stocked. Loved that they had travel size toiletries in each bathroom. Highly recommend."
